they are not on the wings, they are an interchangable front 3

Who you thinking United will be looking at, targeting this summer Mr Blundo?

1st June only and probably to do with no games but I think the transfer muppetry in overdrive carries some weight as it seems likely we'll do some significant biz the next two months...

Would LOVE for us to test Arsenals resolve on Fabregas

If not the above then would LIKE Schweinsteiger

But, we'll probably SETTLE for someone like Scot bloody Parker

No idea Johnno to be honest, i just wait with excitement

In fairness, we need a Fabregas type and Schweinsteiger type.

This is true.

I worry that Rodwell will be part of our solution.

Not saying the potential isn't there but he isn't ready for anything significant yet.

Dunno about Parker, not liked him since 1994 with that McDonalds advert.

I think we'll make some BIG signing but the expectation is leaving me on the borderline sex-wee on my pants scenario...

I worry about Rodwell's injuries myself. Schweinsteiger sadly is an unrealistic target, I can't see Bayern selling him.

I can also see Everton and Moyes taking us to the cleaners over Rodwell, young, potential, English, the whole Rooney afair looming over this transfer.

I feel sorry for Sir Alex because we had the answer in Hargreaves.

i bet the same was said about Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane etc etc etc...there is no such thing as an unrealistic target really if theres enough money to spend..even Schwein or Wilshere

A mixture of muppetry and realism

This This and This.:drool::drool:

Realistic for sure.

30+ 30 + 18 = 78 mil pounds.

Believe.

Sell Berbatov(If we really need money) + Brown + Gibson = 20 mil pounds

Net = 50-55 mil pounds.

Do you honestly think we will bid 80 Million for Schweinstegier as that is what he will cost having signed a massive new deal at Bayern and Bayern would never even dream of selling him for any price as they are not a selling club and never have been? Certain players just dont get sold for any price and he is on that list.

Without letting my inner muppet take over I thin this is about as good as it will get for next season. I cant really see us going for Rodwell or Sanchez even though they would be nice

He's extended his contract at Bayern, no way he will leave this summer.

De Gea, Young, Modric, Varane - that'll be it. And I'd be happy about it.

Why would you sell Nani? And why so cheap?

Cannot be relied on in the big games. Doesn't suit the team/squad isn't intelligent enough in his defending and isn't Ronaldo good whereby that could be ignored. Has a funny face. Expect he will be part of the deal for sneijder and it will be nani plus cash.

what a joke, he was one of our best player this season, to undermine his contribution to our team is crazy..

I don't even know where to start with that, so I'll just point out that his team mates voted him the best player of the season, and leave it at that.

We used to have similar awards at the Xmas party at work. People voted for the person who needed the confidence boost not necessarily the person that everyone knew was the best.

Oh my god, seriously, you think the squad decided to vote for Nani because they thought he needed a confidence boost, not because they actually thought he was the best player? That's hilarious.

Of course

I dont know where to start!

If we were to sell Nani its 35 mil or more.

I mean he was our best player before injury ffs and has so much potential.

I am actually exicted to see Nani next season.I believe he has the potential to be amongst the top 5-7 next season.

Hehe, I missed the fee part, genius.

Genuine question FT, How'd you work that fee out?

I expect nani to be part of a plus cash deal for sneijder. The plus cash bit will be5-10m so set the fee at 10m below sneijders...simples

If only it was that simple.

Anyway, so basically we give Nani and cash to get Sneijder. Humor me if you will, but we essentially give out our best winger and our most productive player, probably as productive as Sneijder, while still evaluating him at 10m less than the latter? That doesnt make a lot of sense to me tbh.

Fergie wants sneijder and nani plus cash is the only way inter will let it happen-they are driving a very hard bargain. The boss feels young can adequately cover nanis contribution.

Perhaps +10m is a little high. Lets say +5m and put 5m back in the pot towards the winter window.

...whereas your made-up stuff about Sneijder and Nani is tremendous.

I love how you're stating all this as fact, what are you basing this on?

How in God's name do we know that Inter are driving a hard bargain?!?
