He's well under-priced at £14m, but I agree with Cutch that it's not a defence to play a high line with.

Could you edit Cocu in? He's missing, because my edit above was a bit late. I would have taken de Boer for 10m :lol:.
 
I was hoping everyone would just forget about Cocu. Do people think he would work at the base of a diamond? Or is he only best in the left midfield spot?

I remember @antohan having him in a draft. Can't remember how you played him though.

I think Anto played him next to Schweinsteiger in CM with Bergkamp as AM in the sheep draft. I'd say there are a better fits for the holding midfielder role in a diamond still not picked yet.
 
Yeah he played like Balu described it. I'm still thinking myself to take Cocu to play next to Seedorf in CM, I don't see any problems with that

The beauty of Cocu is that he can play well pretty much anywhere between left back across and up to central midfield.

I calculated at least 10 times to make sure I wasn't going over budget, something seems to have gone wrong
 
Sorry guys, it was really a genuine mistake, I counted a lot of times and thought I'd have 30 odd left after I bid for Muller. I think I forgot a player, but I would never intentionally go over budget. :(

Yeah, I believe you. I honestly have no clue how that 30m fine would work? If you can't afford Costa, you loose the player, your overall budget is reduced to 270 and you're again in the same situation as before, right? Then you loose Kaka, your budget goes down to 240, well fecked again? Or am I missing something? I've no idea how that will work, but I don't have a solution either, in case no one outbids you on one of your expensive players.
