DJ Campbell to Blackburn
From a business point of view, getting business done ASAP is the smart option. It would be nice to have a bit of excitement on a deadline though. We are Manchester United, we should be the ones stealing the show.
"Could Gary hooper be the next big signing" there hasn't been any big signings at all today
Rather not. Its just a wild ride even when you don't want to get sucked in.From a business point of view, getting business done ASAP is the smart option. It would be nice to have a bit of excitement on a deadline though. We are Manchester United, we should be the ones stealing the show.

Madness to hear Norwich went to 9million
They bet the house on getting him and now they're stuck with Becchio, who looks very much a Championship striker.

On the contrary, getting deals done early makes sense from a footballing point of view (in that if you are wealthy and offer big money you'll likely get your man before anyone else stops it), but financially speaking the best deals are often done late.
I don't understand why anyone would want to wait until the last day to make a transfer, you have got 30 days to get your business sorted out.Just shows how well United have been run under Sir Alex. Generally (I only ever remember Berba?) ever bought on the this day which was Spurs a tactic.
They even had a private jet waiting at Glasgow Airport.Madness to hear Norwich went to 9million
Villa pulling out the big guns and signing Simon Dawkins from Spurs on loan.
Guardian TDD page:
There's someone at the door at Guardian HQ. Should I leave my chair to answer it? Or just assume it's Peter Odemwingie and ignore it?
