Transfer Deadline Day

stoke make a move to try and sign adam johnson on loan.

I am surprised not many teams have asked to sign Johnson on loan or on transfer for this long.

This transfer window is turning into a disaster again. £70m likely to be accrued, £40m spent, £12m of which on a player who won't figure much at all. And to think people have the nerve to suggest the board seek to make profits.

The problem is in the deals. We're stuck in the fecking 90s in the way we deal with transfers and complete them.

Are Arsenal seriously not adding a central midfielder?

There has to be something planned

Arsenal have spent 40 million?

Can you give a breakdown of that Alastair?

I really, really hope someone is keeping track of Sky Sports News' bullshit.

This is Wengers biggest failing. Everyone knew he'd lose Fabregas and we've known for 2 months Nasri was off, yet here he is scrambling around for loan moves from Chelsea with 3 hours to go. Absolutely stunning from Wenger.

What's forgotten is that Arsenal have let go of 20 players this summer - a mass clear-out of fringe players and academy types that we don't believe will make it. It's an astonishing transfer window in terms of the sales.

bellamy has arrived at liverpool to complete his move back to the club.

Has the gimp with all the mobile phones come on yet? I'm not switching back on unless he's there.

Screw the fringe players, you've lost your best two midfielders and are bringing in Yossi Benayoun. Happy days.

Protests are not going to work. And what use is it protesting after the transfer window closes if you them to buy players?

Oh, Lansbury loaned out.

I'm surprised, to be honest.
