Transfer Deadline Day

Ngog currently having a medical with bolton

Summer is a cruel time...

Arteta for 10m would be a decent buy for me. His wages wouldn't be astronomical either.

Firstly, I don't believe you are in possession of £10m necessary to sign him. Secondly, you would have to be a registered football club to purchase a footballer. Last but not least, I don't think you'd make a profit on such deal if you factored in wages. All in all, I'd advise you against such purchase.

Sarni, you're making an awful lot of assumptions there.

He might have that ten million.

He might be a registered football club.

He might not want Arteta as a footballer but as his personal slave and hairstyle advisor.

We're being very quiet this last day of the transfer window, it's unsettling.

Not suprised about players not coming in but how on earth PIG is hanging onto his united career is a mystery to me. Expected movement for Diouf, Macheda and possibly Gibson too.

I've seen more exciting windows on Lego houses.

What happened to sky's exciting man united news!

feckers. I'm glad I'm not paying for that shit anymore!

Big crowd gathering outside Old Trafford. Much anticipation...

20/20 game with India...come on England

Exactly. I thought PIG, Gibson and Diouf maybe would have went. Also there's been talk of Macheda going on loan.

But nothing has happened, that's what I meant by quiet as well. Not just players coming in, but there's no concrete talk of any players leaving either.

Hooray! Jim White's done a Hargo, and won't be tormenting us with shouty news about crap players moving to crap clubs.

Sometimes deals get announced after the deadline, so any out goings / loans we may have in the pipeline may not get announced to later on in the evening or tomorrow even. Surely 1 of the 4 you mentioned will leave.

Came across this on Jermaine Jenas' wiki page

Atl. Madrid have done well to balance their books this summer.
Inter have done good business on paper. Sold for more than they bought and loosened their wage budget a bit.

Roma and Juve definitely going to challenge for the title. Italian league has added some quality to it whilst the Bundesliga seems to have lost a bit.

I got excited when they said "News from Old Trafford".....soon deflated as it was all about the coin toss at the cricket.

SSN .....news from Old Trafford

FFS ..... its about the Cricket

:D

QPR sign goalkeeper Trani. Apparently Warnock picked him up on holiday in Thailand by mistake but was pleasantly surprised by how well he handled his balls.
