This season perhaps....I can't see the clawing back the deficite. But they'll obviously be in great shape for next season. For a bloke who's bored with the game, he's not half spent enough over the past 8 months. I think we'll probably spunk a bit of cash on replacements for VDS, Scholes....and possibly Giggs in the summer.
And Sults, I don't think Suarez was bought to replace Torres - Carroll's his replacment. Otherwise they'd have kept the Torres cash safe till the summer.

Could easily be that Suarez is pulling out if the rumour that he thought Torres was staying, is true. Its a big bad signal to be selling him, so unless Suarez was told he was coming in to replace him...
