Television Top Gear

That was a fairly good episode until the P45 thing, which would have been faintly amusing had it been a 5 minute skit but was just annoying and went on far too long.

Oh and I still hate Hammond.

Exactly. It was great apart from the star in a car which is now boring as feck, the standard Decia/Lecia (whatever) joke and the P45 thing going on forever.

What went wrong with that was originally they'd talk exclusively about the guest's car history & now it's just like a chat show guest. Who cares about their new film, it's a car show. If you want a celebrity interview, watch Graham Norton.

The guests probably only do it now as a chance to plug their new stuff; still a shit show mind.

watching it on iplayer, very hot blonde behind clarkson during the news.

The Aston looked great but I do love that Lexus, it just sounds like it's incredible to drive the thing.

It was a pretty good episode overall.

Just watching the rally bentley episode now. Meeke was amazing. I think i'd be changing underwear after a 1/2 mile in that race.

Hammond doesnt bother me as much as he does most of ye.

Just got round to watching last Sunday's episode on the iPlayer.

The 'race' was as manufactured as any of them but was still fairly enjoyable.

I never thought he had it in him, but Hammond made me dislike him even more that I already did, so congratulations there I guess.

If they stick to actual car related stuff it's a good show, so hopefully they'll not deviate too far into the attempted comedy for the remaining episodes. I won't hold my breath, though.

Despite the fact the first time he did it was 6 years ago on a wet track.

Your too hard to rile up, be more like weaste if you know whats good for you.

Really enjoyed last weeks road trip to the San Siro. That Mustang is gorgeous! the bit where he's driving through the Alps and he's expecting Jason Bourne to come the other way sums up why I love the show, and those movies.

saw that one last night. my kids like seeing the fox strolling across the pitch at Wembley.

I missed what happened to Hammond in Mexico, has that one aired yet?

It followed on in the latest episode, he did a road test in Mexico and that was about it.

My missus has really got into this show. It was also great when they went to Willow Springs which is just up the road from where we live now. For years she just hated the show but now cant wait for the next episode....great!!

I loved that tonight, this is when they do it properly and it's the best thing on TV.

I only really watch it when they do these big challenges these days. Brilliant. Can't wait for next week.
