I still can't believe that Mata arrived in a fecking helicopter. It's a full on Caf fantasy that actually happened.

Make it happen again Woody!

Always laugh when i see definitive statements like these.

It is far more likely it will happen in the summer, we all know that, but why you feel the need to post a complete guess as some sort of statement is bizarre. :)
It's not bizarre in the slightest. As you said, we all know it's much more likely to happen in the summer, just decided to reinforce that because no doubt there are those constantly refreshing this thread in some ill advised desperation.

OK, just so I'm straight has there been any indication at all that we're after this lad or that we might be preparing a bid?

Gimme the low down brothers.

We're not privy to Moyes' thoughts so I guess we just rely on media speculation, that's all.

The only indication is that Moyes went to watch Bayern vs Monchenhoweveryouspellit, and he was pictured a lot alongside Sasha Boreese, Kroos' agent. Otherwise it's all paper talk.

We need a midfielder. Pep said something very ambiguous about his contract. Moyes was seen at a Bayern game with his agent. Kroos threw his gloves off in an unrelated incident...

Struggling for anything else to be honest, but the hope's still clinging on.

Imagine if they ask Pep about Kroos today and he answers 'I don't want to talk about other club's players'.

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has opened the door for [URL='http://www.squawka.com/players/toni-kroos']Toni Kroos to move to Manchester United, or any other club, after suggesting that ‘things move quickly in football’.

Apparently, David Moyes sat with Kroos’ representative when he travelled to Germany last week to watch Borussia Monchengladbach against Bayern Munich.

That has seen the rumour mill go into overdrive as Moyes searches for a new midfielder after signing Juan Mata for a club record fee last week.

Some reports suggest that Moyes is ready to make a £25 million for the 24-year-old.

Guardiola was asked about speculation linking Kroos with the Red Devils and did nothing to downplay talk of a potential move.

He said: “He is an important player but things can move fast in football.

“Here today, gone tomorrow.”

Negotiations over a new contract for Kroos have stalled with the German club and rumours of his future started when he said this:

“I am unable to rule anything out.

“I am under contract with Bayern Munich (until June 2015). Actually there are yet no further talks [regarding a new contract] scheduled. I will therefore fully focus on the second half of the season.

“There are worse situations in life. I play for a top club, and under a top coach. I am pleased, and sometime in the future a decision will be made.”

I don't know how much more i can take of seeing that quote "here today, gone tomorrow". Must've seen it about 40 times now on this forum alone
