They played Stuttgart today. Nice of Guardiola to talk to them about Kroos' future when the game wasn't finished.

It'd be funny if Thiago, the "Muppets Dream 2k13" is kinda the reason Kroos is unhappy and helps us to his signature...

I very much doubt that Rooney is going to change his number now. If anything Robin can change to 9 if you really want a 9.

Because it'd be a signal of intent. He gets the striker role he so desperately wants and it shows he's not expected to sacrifice his game any more by dropping deep, that's Mata's job now....

Expensive? Are you mad, Mainoldo? I know it's like comparing apples and oranges, but when you see figures like £17 million for Paulinho, £27.5 million for Fellaini, £30 million for Fernandinho and ~£20 million for Cabaye, Kroos represents massive value.

He's easily worth nudging towards the £40 million mark alright. He's as close to a Scholes as what's available, and right now, for us, that's worth its weight in gold.

I'll be amazed if he don't go in hard for Kroos if what's being reported is to be believed. This is a genuinely great chance to make a huge statement, alongside the Mata signing.

After such depressing summer, Moyes should be literally sitting next to Bayern's bench today with briefcase full of moneys.

There's just not a hope of getting him in January.....Bayern aer playing hard ball wiht his wages probably because they have seen a major increase this year in the amount they fork out for wages and are more than likely trying to keep their house in order.......Kroos will get a new contract in the summer with Bayern and it's very possible they would sell Sweinsteiger to Real Madrid before selling Kroos next summer but that ain't gonna stop endless bumps of this thread from websites like caughtoffside and givemefootball that print endless nonsense

I was going to laugh at this article, for not only being based on nothing more than bookies' odds, but the odds only being 2/1. But I just checked, and he's actually gone 4/9 this evening...

The point still holds, that bookies just respond to bets etc, and this still seems a bit pie-in-the-sky, but... once the odds come within evens, I think you have to take some notice.
