Gaming Tom Clancy's - The Division | Division 2 announced

I have 7 keys somehow again. I'm jammy as feck with them! Ya we will do that in the blink of an eye, just like last night - killed 3 named guys within 7 minutes of the daily update :D

Yeah to be honest, when I saw that pop up I thought that was the DZ challenge done, but I thought I didn't get the rank score for it, until I checked.
7 keys, crazy haha. I wish the vendors still sold them for phoenix tokens as I have them to burn and nothing to buy with them

We did it again last night - seemed quicker than the first time we did it...

Haven't given Challenging a go - think we all need to be kitted out in the gear sets for that to work!

I have 4 pieces of the Sentry (got the final piece last night) and 2 Nomads - which I will be trying to swap for either 2 Striker (for the +20% Damage to Elites) or 2 Tactician (for the +4k skill power). I can buy the kneepad blueprint at the BoO for either of these, so will wait and see what gloves I manage to find and then buy the respective blueprint.

With the incursion. How do you stop the turrets killing you. Everytime I went up, went via the left room and pressed the turret button and then tried to plant the bomb and still got smashed by the turret?

Chuck EMP grenades to disable the right one. EMP grenade + Survivor Link + run like hell = survival pretty much all the time.

@Hal9000 is insane on bomb runs. Think he somehow manages to do it at times without disabling right turret either.

EMP grenades. Didn't know about them, so hopefully that will help.

So people are just disabling the one turret then. Is it only at the back that you can plant the bomb?

We never disable right one, just the left then plant an run like hell.

I usually just pop first aid heal with overheal as i'm disabling the left turrent, and then turret barely touches you. Then have survivor link as backup just in case i'm getting fecked.

I see they announced that they will be rebalancing weapons in the near future. No more info on which, although I think they said they felt shotguns were underpowered.

Hopefully this isn't just nerfing SMGs or the M1A...

Feck sake. I understand shotguns as they are rather pointless as is, but if they feck around with all weapons then I'd be raging.

Shotguns should be powerful, would love to walk up a random stranger and down them with a point blank shotgun blast.

I think a lot of people have put a lot of materials and parts into crafting their weapons - think there will be a backlash if the popular weapons get nerfed!

SMGs are very OP, tbf. A slight damage nerf would be fair and realistic. No way should an SMG apply more damage than an AR or LMG. ARs are about right.

LMGs could do with a slight damage buff. Maybe just give them a crit damage bonus and a slight accuracy or stability nerf to compensate.

Shotguns need a damage buff. AI shotguns need a range nerf.

Rifles are fine, imo. The M1A is a beast in real life.

Very true. Between the likes of Damo breaking his bollocks to get to level 75 to get a blueprint, to then get enough material to craft a good roll, to then for the devs to say "actually, we fecked it from the start, so let's feck ye over one more time and make ye wish ye went with a different blueprint or waited. Lolz" would be the straw that final breaks the camels back. No point in playing if they just patch it up and screw us over at the same time

Anyone know when the aug will be unavailable at the special gear vendor. Wont get on until tomorrow the buy it (if its still there)

Yep - Saturday morning, so you still have a few days to get it.

I have 380 PC at the moment and want to buy it, but have plenty of time to make up the balance:

So I figure each day this week, I can do the 2 x Hard daily missions (2 x 15 PC) and 1 x Challenging daily mission (50 PC) plus the combat daily objective (10 PC). This gives me 90 PC each day, which by Friday will take me to 740 in total (have 380 currently). That means I just need to get an additional 74 PC by Saturday. An additional run through of a Challenging mission will net you 30 PC each time - so is easily gotten from that. In saying that, I think that extra 74 will be picked up organically just through killing bosses in the DZ (and also during the missions), or from doing the Incursion (which gives you 15 PC on Hard).

Eh I'm not too surprised about the weapon rebalancing. Destiny did it tonnes of times and nerfed popular weapons. Some weapons were OP in PvP so they ended up nerfing them in PvE too which was shit.

But yeah, the pain is that in this game you buy blueprints and get a lot of material to craft (which they upped) and this could all end up being irrelevant soon.

That's one of the major complaints I've seen. For everyone grinding away, people that can pick it up and play can get an item of equal ability with a fraction of the playing time. The only benefit is being of a greater overall standard and that isn't really worth the pay off considering all the hours spent.

Personally, my interest is starting to wane and I'm glad I didn't go all in on the edition that included all DLC. I can foresee myself spending a less than 5 hours a week at most soon as things stand.

DZ Missions: https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/4gjesv/dark_zone_missions/

This post contains MAJOR spoilers for what I believe will be content in Conflict, the upcoming 1.2 free content for The Division.

Currently there are 40 deactivated missions labeled for use in the Dark Zone.

After seeing the post about the drone rescue I figured I'd post what appears to be DZ based objectives.

Right now we've got:
  • Locate and Kill a Leader for each faction
  • Burn Contaminated Supplies at 5 different locations (Sounds Cool)
  • Securing locations (Which sounds a lot like Landmark quest rewards
  • Decipher Signals and Gathering Intel from the LMB
  • Rogue Agent Identification and Elimination (I assume a NPC Rogue Agent. Though this would be awesome if someone in your group was a mole or something
  • Assassinating Named Targets
  • Standard Virus Collections Missions
  • Kill a bunch of mobs of one faction
  • Securing Rooftops
  • A number of other go t this place and kill these guys with different flavors.

ok, am I missing something here.
Today I see two hard missions: warrens gate and that final mission with the helicopter.
Done them.

There is no challenging mission at all.

Although I've done the Warren gate mission, it doesn't have a tick next to it, but I did just complete it?
I was thinking, does it mean Warren gate is the active hard and challenging mission today, but there is no extra phoenix tokens for doing it

These are the weapon talents: Are they available for every gun, or are some only available on certain gun types?

I think Warrengate is both the hard and the challenging - can you not select that difficulty?

Right, so it's like 2 months after the release, what are your thoughts guys? Is it fun? Bugged? What are the development plans for the game, unending paid DLCs?

I'm thinking of buying it but don't want to make the same mistake as with Battlefront which is fecking crap.

Personal opinion:
Story mode: Boring
DZ: Repetitive and slightly imbalanced
Daily missions: Repetitive
Incursions: Zombie style but worse

I know I am not selling it to you right now, but I actually can't keep off the game. For whatever reason, I am constantly wanting to play it

And they say PC gaming is much better.... Sure it's taking advantage of a bugged game, but the shit that's happening on console is nothing compared to the PC hacks.

In terms of the game, it's most addictive game I've played in years. Single player had so much pick up and play about it, tad repetitive but still enjoyable. Running a bit low on what to do now bar daily challenges and dz runs, but that 1.2 patch leak sounds cool.

I find it very addictive as well....i used to play GTA and FIFA all the time now I barely play them.

Likewise. Got so sick of gta as it took about 30 minutes to go from going online with mates and waiting on loading screens for missions/heists, then getting kicked from a server and doing it all over again. the division is a fairly seamless transition from solo to group in DZ or group PvE missions. Ease of access is unreal.

FIFA is a frustrating turd.

As mentioned, it does have a good few faults and it does get repetitive. But it's those type of games that keep you coming back are the ones well worth buying as its value for money.

Breezing the incursion now. Got a Tacticians Holster tonight with all 3 areas well over +500 and 811 Armor. A guy in our matchmaking (random with no mic) shared a Strikers Vest with me as well so now I'm over 200 GS with 220k DPS, 70k Health, 22K Skill.

@paulscholes18 Tonight might be tricky for me as I only have an hour spare at 4:30. Tomorrow I can do all evening though mate.
