Gaming Tom Clancy's - The Division | Division 2 announced

also im disappointed they don't have real players walking past each other on screen outside the DZ.

This, I expected it to be more open where you could just bump into other players and help them out on their missions or encounters

Another thing is the fecking echos getting lost in the side missions, you cant replay them unless you find someone who hasnt done the side mission and after it getting 3 of those echos yesterday, i have now found myself having to get another 2 in the gramercy district.

Had my first darkzone excursion, holy shit thats a rush. Teamed up with a randomer, got to level 12, was about to extract a load of loot and 6 rogue agents came to feck us up to which we died.

However, we re spawned and managed to take all of them out and recover our stuff and some!

Thank feck for the BLue DMR i crafted 30 mins prior.

He can't of played on the PS4 then, ever fecker is just killing each other regardless of if they have loot or not.

Level 30 Dark Zone, very rare people do go rogue, the punishment is to great. I was level 41 yesterday. One of the stupid random i got matchmaked with was not watching where he was shooting, and kept going Rogue. Few groups realised it was a mistake, and left us. Last group just destroyed us as i tried to run away. Lost 2 1/2 ranks and a huge amount of credits and that was on Rogue level 1... 18 second Rogue timer.

Got so pissed, i left the group and executed the idiot as soon as he got out of the safe house. The rage messages i got somewhat made up for it.

So these gun talents?
Are they a random when you pick up a gun, or do you attach talents to them?
Also what are pheonix credits?
 i'm sure that game doesn't bother to explain anything to you

EDIT: Also, your gear, the bottom selection has some mods, but I don't understand where or what they attach to?

- Yes and no they come with the gun and you can't attach different ones or re-roll them.
- Pheonix Credits are like end game currency, so you get them from completing daily missions and killing named bosses (in dz, missions and PVE areas). You can then spend them at the special gear vendor in your BOO or in the safe houses in the DZ for HE gear.
- Some gear have mod slots, becomes a lot more common when you start unlocking higher level gear. When highlighting equipment, if it has a mod slot, you can press squad to attach a mod. These give you boost on the equipment's stamina/firearms/electronics and sometimes additional bonuses

If you remember the side mission, you can re-trace you steps and replay the echo's. It's just you can't see them marked on minimap.

Sounds like most of you are near level 30 now. Is it looking like it has much long term replay value once you get to the end game stuff?

To early to tell.

I mean at the moment you hit 30, then it's either DZ to loot gear, crafting materials and phoenix credits.. or do the daily missions or challenge missions for the same goal (which are getting easy now)

How ever they plan to have monthly free updates.. In April they will launch the 1st incursion (end game raid) and squad trading, in May we get the 2nd incursion and new Dark Zone features. Then three DLC expansions over the first year which will include map updates, more story missions, incursions and play modes etc.

So although the end game may feel pretty sparse, for some at the moment. Ubisoft have done well communicating that, this is not all it will be and at least for the first year we're potentially going to get smaller monthly updates and three larger expansions.

Given it's popularity i wouldn't be surprised we get a huge add-on in year two, which will give us lower or upper Manhattan for example.

When would you say is a good level to start going into the dark zone?

Personally think it's pointless going in before level 30.. mainly because as you level up the gear you get in DZ will become redundant.

Although you can go in just for fun, and get a start ranking up your DZ rank and getting DZ funds. If you're level 12, you will only be grouped with players around your level anyway. So you won't be walking into a slaughter.

You have to be in the mission to get them, so youhavetofind someone who hasn't completed them yet, which is where one of my complaints would have come in handy. Any ways I'll jump in with ONO and see what missions they were part of

Does not replaying the echo count then? I know for missing persons you can play them outside the mission. Not sure if this counts as collected?

I think that only works if you collected them in the mission, for the missing persons first time around i spent half of it messing around in the inventory while the other person on my team had started the mission and i only picked up 2 of the echo's before the mission was done and it wouldn't let me get the other 3 even though i could get to them, but there was no activation point and had to replay with some random friend, this sort of thing would be aided if they let us run in to random players in the normal world as you could just camp and wait for someone to enter the area and join them instead of pure luck that a random friend was there at the same time as me.

@Damien You should probably try to re-roll that Vector. I've got 125k dps on mine (Firearms 2151).

Talents are

Accurate (Accuracy +46%)
Deadly (Crit damage +26%)
Self-preserved (Crits heal for 3% of damage dealt)

And I've just stacked critical hit chance/damage on the mods, so I've over 50% critical hit chance with it.

Nice. To change the talents I'd have to craft more weapons though. Will look to improve mods first and foremost then maybe if I can somehow find the materials, craft more Vectors.

I'd rather just do Lexi and dismantle anything I find. Want to stock up on blueprints. Only got three from this week (Vector, Extended Mag and Handstop) but next week will hopefully get more.

Just rolled another vector with 25% crit chance, 9693 DMG with the traits Unforgiving: Missing health segments increase your damage: 1 missing segment +9.50%; 2 missing segments +23% - Commanding: Every kill performed while the Signature Skill is active extends its duration by 18.50% - Destructive: Armour destruction value is increased by 18% when using this weapon.

That's a nice roll.

Made 2 Vectors last night but crappy traits, I think I'd at least need the stability perk on it for it to replace my Midas, its a bit wild.

Some nice stats on those gloves...

9 purple items ready to extract in the DZ.

Literally pressing square next to the rope to extract them.

Delta error 2000984. The division services are not available.

:(

Doing the Times Square boss exploit now (managed to make it work by joining on someone's session @Stobzilla) and he just dropped a Lvl 31 Caduceus.

Havent had any high end gear yet except the Damascus pistol I made and dont use. Sadface.

Just logged in this morning to find that it's restored all of my stuff into my pack and I'm the nearest safehouse. Just have to extract again. Nice touch. Hopefully won't get to lose all of my level 31 gear.

Is it just me or are the servers for this a bit shitty. This morning I noticed some slight lag, and I'm current playing and everything is basically frozen and doing no damage.

Sorry, that was me I think. I think I've missed a couple somewhere along the way too :/

No worries, it's the systems fault, it should either allow you to replay missions or just collect them after the mission.

I thought I was collecting them for both of us for some reason :/ think I'm gonna go online shorlty, didn't get a chance last night with overtime at work

Read on NeoGaf that there is a bug associates with crafting a particular High End (gold) backpack:

firearms backpack pattern (although people are saying it could happen with other backpacks.

Once you get those bought and crafted (may need to craft some over and over to get rolls you are happy with) you are like 80% near the best stats you can get in the game, only a few slots missing vendor buyable pC patterns.

DO NOT CRAFT THE BACKPACK
Crafted a backpack last night, along with some other pieces of gear and mods. Logged out, game bugged out, lost the backpack, all crafted gear and my cadeceus. Went to restart the game, now stuck in perpetual login screen.

Spoke to ubi support, they have no eta on a fix for this but seems like I'm hosed.

There's been reports of people losing all of their shit and getting their savefile permantly bugged after crafting and using the backpack. No joke either.

Anyone here experienced this?

It seems people are losing their inventory and getting locked out - so unable to log back on to the servers.

I crafted the stamina one thankfully!

Lol, finished Russian Consulate on challenging with 1 random and 2 mates who had 0 yellows. Took about 2 hours.

Just managed it in 30 mins. Slight improvement on my last attempt of 3 hours 30 mins.

Had some guy trying to grief us all night, following us around solo and shooting us with pot shots to try and agro us into going rogue.

Felt sweet when he got downed by some NPC's and crawled towards us expecting the revive. Me and @Damien just sat doing jumping jacks and watched his timer go down.

Been getting several salty messages since.

What an utter cock he was. Despite losing around 10k XP in total because of him I ended up gaining a couple of levels and enjoyed the experience overall.

I like the route you and Browniee took. We came across quite a few bosses and though we died a few times we stayed within our comfort zone. I've lost track of the number of times in the past I've been on the junction between dark zone 5 and 6 and got annihilated with 2/2.5 others.

Yeah it's quite an easy route and to be fair when iv'e gone into DZ 4-5-6 i don't really see an increase in high end drops, and the XP difference per mob is about 20xp. So it's a lot quicker just to run that area.

Iv'e ended up blocking him, he's just crying and banging on about 'unwritten rules' and taken it far to seriously so i just sent a screencap of the WoW south park episode and just blocked him. I saved the video, so i may upload it and share just to make him cry a bit more.

I can't wait till they balance the reward/punishment for going Rogue. I'd happily go rogue more, just when you lose 26k XP like i did.. not worth it.

Do it

So, I notice a lot of you higher ranks are using the vector.
From what I have seen so far (not had a vector), but SMGs just don't quite live up to Assault rifles as of yet, so is the Vector just so much better than all other SMGs?

I really like the stability of the AUG. I use that, along with an M1A.

What other weapons do people recommend?
