Gaming Tom Clancy's - The Division | Division 2 announced

There's a mission that is recommended for (I think) level 14s which'll make that look like a cakewalk! Tried it as a level 11 with a level 9 and two similar levels via matchmaking and it was horrendous. Did it in the end but there was one bit in particular that was a nightmare.

Have to extract something, gives you five mins to clear enemies and extract stuff. The enemies are a crapload of cleaners and there are snipers that one/two shot you. All of this takes place in an arena that's a flaming inferno.

Jesus H Christ!

I kept running out of main ammo for him, had to switch to my 2nd gun.
You are right, you have to keep running away, find cover and shoot to kill him.

Ive never run away that much in a game ever. It took some getting used to.

Did you do that mission alone or with people?

I did it solo. Will do it on hard at some point with others.

15 so I'm probably around where you are. I'll be on in about half an hour. Up for doing anything really.

Worst thing for me was in the Hudson Camp refugee mission, it showed that there was a phone recording somewhere nearby (this was after I spent ages killing a tough boss solo). I decided to try and find a way to the phone recording, ended up getting stuck and couldn't get out as it wouldn't let me jump onto a bin lorry or over a few binbags. So on two sides there were fences, on one side a bin lorry that I had jumped down from in the first place to get to where I got stuck, and on the final side a bunch of binbags and I couldn't get out and had to start the mission from scratch again.

I never did get that stupid phone recording.
Exact same thing happened to me.

It lures you in with that stupid awkward radar and then traps you. It's even set up for you to climb in!

You can shoot the tanks on those napalm bosses sides to do a load of damage. I'd no problem doing the one in the morgue because of it. He was a right bitch in the beta though when I didn't realise that.

I ended up

luring him out of that room and just running around one of the power relay things you power up. When he blasted fire the power relay thing stopped the fire from damaging me.

Sound Damo. I actually done that tactic on the earlier parts, ran backwards to previous section for cover. I should have done the same

 I'm level 15 helping out level 11 with mission. Level 26er joins the team and the boss' level goes up to 21 which means we're getting battered.

That was feckin brutal, I thought "cool, were strolling this" suddenly Sam joins and it was "ah this is going to be well easy now" till I realised one shot to anywhere on me and I was dead... One shot deaths man :( was still a laugh

Yeah, was fun. Plus I got two pieces of level 17 blue loot which'll be an improvement on stuff I've got when I get to level 17.

Well I went into a mission and changed it to hard  Not something I'll do anytime soon.
The one where you go and save that doctor in the stadium. The constant wave of enemies made this a nightmare.

I'm gutted though. I am sure it said if I did this on hard I'd get a blue weapon piece to build with....Lets just say, I never...

@Brocky I know you were amazed I didn't die those two times so recorded them.

That heal block which can auto revive you if downed was a life saver for all of us during that mission. Insane. I've got around 11k HP plus with me being the highest level of the four of us it helped my endurance I think. Definitely best option to run to the extraction point with the heal thing as backup.

That mission was a pain in the arse, I got right to the end solo and then couldn't finish it. I messaged Vato because I could see he was stood about a foot away from me right at the end of the mission in his own instance but the cnut wasn't answering so I had to back out and use the matchmaking.

Yeah wait till you get to meet the LMB even their regular patrols are a pain in the ass. I do 50k DPS on my primary and have 60k health and still get close to dying with them when soloing, also their patrols tend to be 6-8 guys not the usual 4 with the other factions.

But they do drop really nice stuff, usually blue with the odd purple and rare gold.

Also fun is shooting at one faction and getting them to chase you, then lead them to another faction and hide and let them duke it out.

 @Vato you bastard.

For some reason it wouldn't let me or Star revive Kate (square symbol was there but wasn't working), and there were 6 or 7 cleaners around Brocky so we had to be camped in that area and just slowly kill them from there as Star was level 10 so he died quite often too. Brocky kept telling us to wipe as it'd be quicker but we were adamant that we were going to do it.

When we had 1 enemy left to kill, Kate figured she'd try leaving and rejoining and once she did that we were able to revive her. If only she tried it much earlier.

Yeah the mission was easy right up to the end point, at level 16 I'm doing 8.6k dps with my assault rifle with 7k HP and 6k on my sniper so damage isn't an issue and I have a 5.5k pistol that gives me 30% of my ammo for my sniper rifle every time I get a kill with it and a perk that has a 50% chance to not use the bullet on headshots so it's pretty easy to headshot them with the sniper to almost kill and then switch to pistol and fire a shot off to grant me extra ammo so I don't run out but the snipers right at the end were one shotting like 90% of my HP so had to get help.

Ffs, I didn't even notice the messages until I quit. They don't seem to come through in game for me. Next time just invite me or I'll just join your group when I'll see you're online.

So were you getting the benefit from it down where you were, even though I was on the floor above? That's pretty cool, if so.

My guy is spec'd out for big heals. I have mod's on a couple of pieces of my gear that increase healing skill radius and something else to do with healing that I can't remember. Healing effectiveness, maybe.

I also now have the special skill, which heals and revives anyone within 40m and also gives an over-heal.

My own DPS & stamina suffers, as I am speccing as much electronics as possible. That's why I kept dying, as I was having to take out the snipers because Star was doing very little damage, being such a low level.

If that mission is anything to go by, different roles within the group will be important in later missions, I'd imagine. That was something I was hoping Ubi got right with this game.

I'd have loved to have seen more from your perspective. I couldn't even see you going for the chopper from where I was.

I'll see if I've got a recording of a chopper run. That time I managed to run there and back before I died out completely was insane. Don't think I've got a recording of that run but I'll see if I've got one of any. Should have recorded it but was too occupied with trying not to die at the time.

And yeah, though I was on the floor below I did get some benefit. Had to go slightly on the stairs at times but needed to do that anyway when the cleaners were being particularly aggressive.

When I was doing the mission the other day I had the same role but not had the healing station with revive unlocked so I used the big security shield and somehow managed it. When I did it then I must have been around the level you were, maybe slightly lower.

If anyone is on I will be on for a bit this evening.
I don't have to hit the sack quite so early on a Friday as I don't need to be at work till 9am on a sat.

 I only just realised that gear has mod slots like guns. There's another 1k weapon DPS and another 800 hp.
Yeah, I only found out yesterday when @Brocky mentioned it. Only my bag had a mod slot at the time though.
Christ, and you guys game all the time? I thought I was bad..

So, from which vender can you get the best guns outside of the DZ?

Is it from the vendor upstairs in the tech division you need to unlock first?

"Server data error, some of your data may be lost..."

ok I'll let you guys go first.

Some good guns can be bought from the vendor you unlock with a Security Wing upgrade, sorry can't remember which, he will also sell gold/yellow guns from time to time.

But the best guns (aside from DZ guns) are found or from missions, usually found.
