I personally think that he and Rashford should be starting all Europe games in lieu of Zlatan and Carrick (unless it's a tough one in the latter stages of the competition) as well as every league cup game. No point playing Fellaini/Schneiderlin/ Schweinsteiger who will be gone soon when we have a potential top CM in the ranks.
Anyone who wanted mourinho forfeits the right to moan about any kids getting game time. If he couldn't find game time for kdb in his early twenties then don't expect tfm to play in these team. We will play to mourinhos strengths, which simply don't invlude playing young players
I think he plays whoever is best for the position or game rather than factoring age. That's why Rashford and Lingard have gotten so many starts thus far, and why Shaw is being dropped after performing badly. At centre mid and centre back we've plenty more options and at right back we've Valencia.
yes he does, but some managers play players that arent the best at that moment in time because they might be excellent in the future. As you said mourinho isn't too concerned with that, so they are better short term but probably miss out on the odd star like de bruyne or lukaku
It was a general comment, not aimed at you. There is, however a tendency that supporters want up and coming players to be starters much too soon,only to criticize them when playing poorly.

The fact that he is in the squad of an important game means Jose rates him. Just be patient, he will get his chance as long he works and trains hard. Look at Rashford, he's getting plenty of times to play although as a winger. But when he gets one he needs to take it.
Not advocating that he plays for the first team consistently but Rashford and Lingard are results of a manager taking a bit of a risk. Rashford would not have come through if José was in charge last year and I feel like TFM is only around the first team now under José because of the whole youth policy thing. As @Crashoutcassius has rightly said that hiring José means forfeiting taking risks with young players.
The original point you responded to (Dichinero made it not me) was merely that he should be playing more football at any level, be it first team or U23's.
Somehow you've turned that into a demand for TFM to be an automatic starter. Which you've then described as ridiculous. Even though it's an opinion you've just made up.
I'd really like him to get some game time but if he won't get it, would be good for him to go on a loan to some EPL club at least for 2nd half of the season.

Not too bothered really. Never really been too impressed with FosuMensah. He's big, strong and fast... but on the ball he isn't very good and hasn't seemed like that intelligent of a player. His appearances haven't really warranted more starts this season, though maybe he just had a few bad games. Away in a game like this probably isn't the best place to use him anyway

Played RW today, he's a tremendous athlete - can virtually play anywhere on the pitch. When his attributes are honed into one position, he is going to be a hell of a player.

The problem with him is no one seems to know where on the pitch would his best qualities as an athlete and footballer fit. Even if he only started as right-back, he also featured as a substitute as a defensive midfielder and, today, a right-winger.

for now it's good for us to knwo that Mou rates him and give him the playing time despite not playing him in his best position, sort of like Rashford situation... we have too many midfielders, not enough holding midfielders to make up for his possible mistake I guess it would be too soon to try to push him in the team as a midfielder.. right now it's better if Herrera builds an understangin with Pogba and TFm gets starts as a defender or wherever
