Feel for him. He can’t help the Neuer feck up but he was asking for trouble with those subs

Maybe, just maybe, both Tuchel and Neuer fecked up. Don't shoot the messenger.

I'm convinced now that the CAF has Stockholm syndrome. Of all managers, this fraud? Really?

Hopefully with Bayern out this can accelerate if he’s the man

Tuchel's fault that a professional player doesn't know the offside rule? This fan base feck me
I mean, that had absolutely feck all to do with my post. Tuchel made two shit subs one of which was bringing a defender on for a forward.

That brings on more Real attacks because he decided to sit and fend them off. More Real attacks mean more chances of human error on defending. They put the ball in the back of the net 3 times for fecksake

Tuchel fecked it today, there's no two ways about it.

Trying to shut up shop from 75 mins away at Madrid, only a goal up….

And replace all your goal threat to remove any ability to get ahead again if Madrid equalise… How anyone can call that anything other than what it is, is beyond me.

Atrocious game management.

You can point to the Neuer mistake all you want.

If you invite this team on to you… you are asking for mistakes.

So negative.

Leading late on, makes a few subs to go ultra defensive and take off most the pace on transition? Made for United!

On a serious note, of the options available, not many more suitable than Tuchel to be Ten Hag's replacement.

Ten hag wouldn't have done that. Granted he probably wouldn't have made any sub but it would have been better than that.

Absolutely as obtuse as I'd expect.

Neuer clanger has cost them, but carry on.

At least he managed to get past the group stage. That's an improvement on the shite manager we have

They had an onslaught of attacks, because Tuchel made daft subs. The attacks are on him. It's atrocious and defeatist game management. Quite a few posters are saying the same.

There’s going defensive and then there’s taking off your best goal scorer with 10 minutes to go. Is it really worth the risk of having to go to extra time and penalties without him. Find someone else to take off.

Kane is going to help with defending set pieces, holding the ball up and still has good work rate. Just a fecking mental decision.

They are playing the best team in Europe down to the last minute in what has been a subpar season by their standards. We just lost to crystal palace by 4 goals. There’s levels to this.

It makes perfect sense to go get him….. so I know we won’t.

Defending a lead away from home isn't atrocious management for Christ sake. You can't account for a clanger from the keeper.

Look, it's either him or Southgate

I for one welcome our new German overlord.

Brought on Kim for Sane in the 75th minute I think. That’s way too early to park the bus here

Looked great to me - they were dominant defensively the first 75

They conceded from a GK error while down to 10 men. I’d blame Pavlovic’s behavior with his ‘cramp’ a lot more than Tuchel’s subs. His playacting cost his team dearly.

Should have held his nerve and saved them for the last few minutes not with a quarter of an hour to go. I don't understand, you have matched a team like Madrid for 75 minutes and earned a lead why not keep your dangerous players on to take advantage of spaces that might open up? At least if things go wrong, like they did, you still have the firepower to reclaim your lead or chase the game.

Masterclass by Tuchel. Subbing your #1 goal scorer when the situation may arise where you need a other goal

Think it was a decent game, substitutions at the end didn't lose Bayern the game but didn't give them the ability to respond.

As it stands Tuchel is a monumental upgrade on Erik. If INEOS have someone else in mind so be it (preferably not Southgate) but Eth should not be in the job next season.

Imagine whining about the idea of hiring Tuchel when the leading alternatives are currently Ten Hag or Southgate

Who would be your choice?
NOT Thomas Tuchel that's for sure. First trophyless season for Bayern in two decades. The guy lost a title in a one-team league. Unacceptable and unforgivable. Second luckiest CL win ever behind Di Matteo then proceeds to steer Chelsea towards disaster the next season.

Come to United and get us into positive goal difference please
