They're either gearing up a return, or getting some high flying spots at the ready so the likes of Kane and one other are disposed of for most the match.
Nah, a lot of people want to see it.
Adding Kane makes sense storyline wise too given Taker was retired by Roman and Kane wants revenge. And given Ambrose said Shield can beat anybody 3 or 4 or 5 on. The whole thing has been done really well to stack odds against Shield (and make it look like the opposition have more than a chance to win)

Why bring back one of your best ever factions, who have since all been WWE Champions and are thereabouts in their primes, just to have them lose to a thrown together group of 5?
I don't see who it helps. Despite winning, Strowman will have only won with a 2 man advantage. It doesn't help the Shield, who will look like losers despite being 2 men down. It's really just stupid and a waste of a return. I'm absolutely certain that I could have booked it better.

I wonder if Strowman will be taken out of the match beforehand? A sneak attack backstage would keep him strong (and after the Axel thing, it's not like it's "below" The Shield).
Kane is just a parody of himself now, the costume and mask look like a cheap gimp suit or something.

I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Vince is delusional enough to believe that the best thing to get Roman over will be to have Dean and Seth eliminated (relatively) early and then have him win the match on his own in the face of some crazy odds such as a three-to-one disadvantage. The protection Roman is afforded from being back in the Shield is my opinion tenuous at best and certainly not strong enough to prevent the fans from completely turning on him if they do in fact choose to book the match this way.

Not a fan personally, but I can see they did it so they can work some spots of neutralising the opposition early on in the PPV or in the match itself. Just depends on who gets taken out early. My bet is Kane out early with one half of cesaro or seamus.
I was actually wondering if maybe they will allow the Shield to even it up by taking in partners. I mean that would kind of ruin their aura as like three badasses. But I was wondering who they’d allow in and then thought hmmm Taker has apparently had his hip replacement so maybe 1 last match. Although I think after Mania he should really just call that.

Cena or Bryan joining the Miz? Not adding to the fact Bryan can't wrestle. And if he did ever wrestler again in WWE that they would promote it to the hilt rather than booking him in a match the week before a pPV.
Not really. I think WWE as a whole has been garbage this year especially SD.
I think the main event scene of Raw is the only thing ive enjoyed.

But the Shield reunion as a whole has been done really well and logically. I actually thought it would be Joe as the 5th guy, so to see Kane, thinking about it, it makes sense (except I think Kane was a SD guy lol)
I think keep it 3 on 5. I initially thought it would be Shield vs Miztourage which would have been as obvious a squash as possible with Miz fleeing. Then when it became Bar and miz, it was better. Adding Braun obviously helped. but making it 5 on 3 is great especially as it plays on Deans words, doesnt make it as obvious as we all thought given Braun is in there, and it will be intriguing to see how it goes.
What also helps is that it seems the match is TLC (like Shields first ever match). which also included Kane.
And of course Kane being brother of Taker.
IMO, theyve done it really well.

Kane returning has convinced me that this will be December to Dismember levels of bad.
Hopefully this is the last run for Kane. Really great career but it's time.

Kane's been my all-time favourite, so I wanted him to get another run in before he calls it quits. His last match couldn't be a nothing match against Luke Harper. Hopefully he gets to do something with 'Taker this year or early next then they can both move on in terms of in-ring action. I'm convinced Undertaker, Kane, and Big Show will all be 'retired' by Wrestlemania, but still probably appear on tours etc.

Nah Shield will 100% lose. They aren't going to put Strowman with 4 other guys and have him lose. Even if he is put through a table or something straight away. He has to win after getting more or less squashed by Lesnar. And they've clearly given them 5 vs 3 to make them win. They wouldn't dare bury 5 guys like that. It'll just be spun as "oh Shield gave it their all up against the odds, but came up just short. Good effort though, here's a participation award" then probably set up a 5v5 at Survivor Series.
But for me, that's thick. Either way they've booked themselves into a corner. If they wanted to book it well, they'd have had Braun in a faction with 2 other monsters (let's say Rowan and Harper, they're not doing anything and there's history) and have them tear up the roster for a few weeks. Then one night on RAW they're all standing in the ring after destroying someone, let's say a fan favourite like Finn Balor. Then you hear out of nowhere "Sierra Hotel.." Shield come down through the audience and clean house. Much better booking and I made it up on the spot.
Forgot surely the big show will return for this. That’ll be the equaliser vs Braun. Might be interference or he might be teamed with the Shield. No sign of the Show since Braun put him through the cage.

Just saw TLC is this weekend so was having a quick look at the card. Is any of that other than Asuka vs Emma worth watching? Anything with Sheamus and Cesaro would normally be compulsory viewing but for some reason they are in a 5 on 3 clusterfeck of a match that shouldn't be anything other than them and Strowman kicking ten tons of shit out of the shield, no matter how much they want to put them over as some legendary team as I imagine they have been doing. Also weren't Axel and Bo Dallas palling around with Miz, so shouldn't they be in the match instead? And wasn't Kane on Smackdown. I'm going to take a wild guess and say they haven't explained any of this.
Bo is injured and Axel got "injured" by the Shield. Have to hold my hands up on the Kane suddenly being on Raw now part. Think they were hoping everyone just forgot.
They should just say his contract expired and Raw signed him.
