Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Y2J replied to someone on twitter saying he wasn't on the WM card. So, who will he be wrestling you think?

I may have mis-read this, But you're saying he's said he's not on the card and then asked who he's gonna be wrestling on the card? Again, apologies if i've mis-read/mis-interpreted what you're saying..

No, you've read it right. Just have this idea with Y2J that if he really denies something related to WWE, he's probably doing it.

Ah, I see! Sorry, I didn't understand what you were getting at.

Think this is the tweet you're referring to?

When asked "Gonna be apart of Wrestlemania this year??"

He's obviously hinting at retirement.. He'll probs win the rumble.

Wrestlers don't actually ever retire do they? Steve Austin has stuck to his so far, everyone else I can think of has come back at least once.

HBK, depending on if you count his injury forced retirement that it turns out wasn't as bad as it first seemed. He's been steadfast in refusing matches, no matter how hard they try.

I'm sure many undercard guys have just retired and no one ever realised, but at the top it's pretty rare.

Not sure actually, he's very busy with his podcast, Fozzy and whatever other stuff he has going on. I can see him come back one more time before he retires and gets his (well deserved) Hall of Fame introduction. However, I'm not sure if another go at the title will be it.

He recently did a interview with WhatCulture and said he won't announce retirement, do a retirement match or tour or have any kind of send off. He said when he's done he's done and he just won't wrestle anymore.

Ambrose vs Jericho match sounds good, but i think Owens vs Jericho would of been better. Owens keeps telling everyone he's the greatest IC champ ever, Jericho comes back to dispute that... and as long as they give them both mic time, because they're both great, then it'll be a great feud.

Ambrose vs Jericho writes itself, with Ambrose having the IC belt and the bust up after NoC. However, your KO notion is interesting too. Would not mind seeing Y2J coming back for one of those options.

Daniel Bryan and CM Punk chants... with Vince in the ring.
hmm...

Edit: The acting in the first segment was so bad, its good.
Vince really is great on screen though, its helping Reigns popularity imo.

Steph is just so annoying when she yells. So fake.

And what's the purpose of that segment? I hoped both McMs would get arrested and Reigns would end up running the show and put LoN on the screw. If only...

In brooklyn. Two former NXT champs aswell.

The KO beatdown is great, but they have no clue what to do with either man

Yeah the beat down was unexpected and great.

The beatdown was actually really good, but then 2 minutes later he gets his ass kicked by Ambrose and runs from him

Vince's powerwalk is the best thing in life, period. Vince butchering a line and saying brother in law was pretty funny, don't see that happen too often with him.
This Reigns is so much better, no smiley jokey bullshit, just serious. His facial expressions made it better. Segment lost steam the moment Vince "bumped" his neck though.

Was expecting a 15 minute back and forth between KO and Neville. Think this did them both good. Gave Neville an upset win and helps his slow build, and gives KO more credit as a vicious sore loser with that beatdown.

Naomi's anti-Brooklyn tirade sure got an indifferent response. Good match though, great ending sequence.

"You realise you are booing for yourselves right?" Had me in stitches.

Zack Ryder is back on my TV for a hometown pop only right? I'll forgive him, he's wearing Star Wars gear.

League of Nations vs Reign's Buddies was boring, the attack after wasn't.

amn John, if you really want to give people the title match on Raw, cash in your rematch clause instead of bitching about Del Rio not putting the title on the line! Sure, you can insult him until he gives you one, but you're just making it more complicated now.
Match was okay, if you ignore the superman antics from Cena and Reigns. AA into Cross Armbreaker reversal was nice.

I enjoyed RAW, Vince is class no matter what he does!

Looking forward to next weeks match

Raw thoughts:

- Opening segment was decent enough. Glad they had Vince arrested rather than going down the same old route of the face being arrested. Really happy to see Reigns getting positive reactions recently too, hopefully it lasts.
- The Miz segment was fun...then The Big Show turned up. Can it get any worst you ask? Yes it can as Big Show announces himself as the number one entrant for the Royal Rumble.
- Becky/Sasha got a good amount of time but for me it was an absolute mess and completely fell apart. Just too sloppy.
- Yay, Cena is back just in time to tear through the League Of Nations and send them packing, so excited.
- Owens is possibly the best heel in the company right now and continues to be fantastic.
- Really hope Vince stays on TV for a while longer.
- Brooklyn crowd can feck right off with their Punk chants and then 'boring' chants towards the women.

Decent Raw, not great but not horrendous.

Whilst i was happy to see Becky vs Sasha on Raw, and given time, tbh, why should I care about the match? What is the beef between them except Team BAD randomly throwing egg nog on her on SD. What does the winner get? Is Becky even angry at her cos i dont remember her mentioning this in her promo.

The whole "divas" division is a mess and continues to be a mess, no matter how much extended time they give matches.

Obviously Sasha was never winning clean but did she have to win so dirty? How many times did BAD interfere and then to top it off she grabs tights on the pin? Come on, Sasha has enough credit to beat any diva clean.
One thing building a heel but that was ridiculous.

P.s I said before but Reigns can be a modern Austin and this arrest proved it. It felt so much like Stone Cold and Vince there, police involved etc. Next week can Reigns bring out a beer truck and and hose and drench everybody?

Anyone planning on checking out Wrestle Kingdom 10 next Monday? Should be a really good show, the card looks better on paper than last years which was one of the best shows I've ever seen. AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the IC title could be absolutely incredible.

Decent Raw, not great but not horrendous.

I thought this was a RAW that did not progress any storylines. Not abysmal as usual, but just below average.

1) What was the point of the opening segment and Vince getting arrested? Reigns was in the background for most of that segment.
2) Neville's win was phenomenal. Is he part of the feud or one off revenge for the awards ceremony? What about Ziggler?
3) Divas match was average at best. Thought Lynch to feud against Charlotte? What is Banks doing here?
4) Big Show. *yawn*
5) Cena wins lol. Will Cena join Reigns, Ambrose and Uso's to oppose LoN? Surely that's the obvious storyline.
6) Reigns rolls over LoN again. They are making the same mistake as Cena here. Building him as unbeatable.

Yes it can as Big Show announces himself as the number one entrant for the Royal Rumble.
I have a feeling he meant hes the first entrant to announce himself into the rumble rather than he will be number 1 out.
Hopefully.

Guys: Do you think Lemmy from Motorhead deserves a Hall of Fame spot this year? If they have fecking Donald Trump in it...

I do. Its a good shout, as is Jim Johnston. JJ should win the Warrior award (which is pretty much what Warrior wanted, for the people behind the scenes to get credit).

How many people wanted to punch the screen when Big Show came out? I actually thought that WWE was going to let those guys get some showtime, it was actually pretty funny with RTruth and them out there until Big Show came out. I have no idea why WWE keeps on shoving his irrelevant ass down our throats. He should really have retired a long time ago.

Becky vs Sasha match was pretty good, nice to see two of the most over and talented women in the division get some showtime.

I agree with Sylar, the acting in the opening segment was so bad, it was hilarious.

John Cena's return was really nice too and they put on a good match.

New Day Rocks

Looking forward to NXT tonight

That would be gold. He did note in his book that he thought it was hilarious that his two striking contributions to Wrestling history were the "I'm from Winnipeg you idiot" and the 1004 holds promo.

As funny as the 1004 holds promo is I prefer him mimicking Goldbergs entrance:

"Hello Lexington!!! Were gonna rock ya baby! LEXINGTON!!!" Honestly cracks me up every time.

His debut will forever be one that I remember.

Saying that, if a star had a debut like that today, everybody would be saying how Rock buried him at the end and thats his career done.
