I think it will be Lesnar. He's beaten the likes of Cena and Triple H repeatedly since returning and the Taker feud is over so I can't see where else he fits other than the title match.

Lesnar vs Owens would be far more interesting. I think Cena should face Undertaker. A feud between them has been long overdue.

Wish Rollins wasn't injured. Him with Triple H in his corner vs Reigns with the Rock would be perfect.

It's true, i can't see where Brock fits in at Wrestlemania at the moment (unless Triple Threat). I originally thought they would have Brock win the rumble as and Reigns as the champion.... essentially reverse from last year.

However i think TLC sown the seeds of a HHH v Reigns rivalry, and i really can't see them not having a pay off from Reigns destroying HHH last night, and that's a match they won't give away at Royal Rumble or Fastlane.

I think the only way HHH vs Reigns won't happen is if HHH vs The Rock happens, which apparently was the plan but The Rock couldn't get cleared by his insurers. HHH comes back to destroy Reigns, Rock makes the save and sets up that match for Wrestlemania. Leaving the way for Reigns vs Lesnar 2.

How ever right now, i can't see it not being HHH vs Reigns.

Love to see Lesnar vs Owens, but it doesn't make sense. They will have to give Owens a super build between now and then (although what he did last night teased that) but even if they do, it'll be wasted if he loses to Lesnar.

The ratings have been tanking for a whilst, and to be fair Roman got booed at Survivor Series and the crowd cheered when Sheamus cashed in. Him winning at Survivor Series, when everyone knew it was designed to have him win, wouldn't of got him over.

I don't want to give creative this much credit but If Sheamus didn't win the title, TLC and last night wouldn't of happened and Reigns wouldn't be over.

I think they are obviously setting up for a HHH vs Reigns at Wrestlemania.
Tbf, i wanted neither as world champion.

Sheamus' reigns has worked in that i preferred the lesser of the two evils. So in that sense it worked.

Now,they have to push him properly. A super reigns title run wont cut it.

Pretty much my thinking but I disagree that they won't do Roman/Triple H at Royal Rumble. Last year they had Cena/Rollins/Lesnar at RR so I think it's likely that they would want a second big match to sell the PPV and build excitement heading into 'Mania season, especially since ratings have been bombing over the past six months.
They are desperate for Roman to break out as their next big star and I think beating Triple H at RR(and maybe Fastlane) then beating Lesnar in the 'Mania main event would be far more effective way of doing that than simply beating Triple H at 'Mania.

As for Owens, this is a guy who lost cleanly to Dean Ambrose last night. There's no way that the casual fans are going to buy him as a legitimate threat to Lesnar inside four months regardless of how strong they push him in that time. Owens/Lesnar would be a lot of fun but it's just a little too early in Owens career for that match, although with a little luck maybe that's something we could be seeing next year. I certainly hope it's something we get to see before Lesnar retires.

Owens vs Lesnar
Cena vs Taker
HHH vs reigns would interest me a lot.

Saw the opening match and final match of TLC and really enjoyed it. Then saw the last minute or so / endings of every other matches based on reviews in here. It made the PPV seem really good. Loved angry / dont give a F Reigns from the PPV.

Havent seen Raw but know whats happened so may watch the Reigns parts. Anything else from Raw worth watching?

True but HHH first match in a year being at the Rumble will inevitably take the rub off his match at Wrestlemania. Unless they use his match at Rumble to work towards a match at Wrestlemania. Forget about Fastlane that deffo won't make sense.

I agree with Owens, the only way i see it is he gets a super, and i mean super build. Undefeated, destroying people left right and center, writing people out with bombing them against Aprons. But again to do that in four months, don't think it'll work.

Personally i'm hoping for Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens ladder match at Wrestlemania. It's probably to soon for that as well though.

Sheamus offering Reigns a title match made no sense at all.
No logic in this feud or booking though.

Tbh, though it was a flimsy storyline, the logic behind that was strong.

1) A major title change at RAW. With recent rating down in the dumps, with this surprise you'll definitely get the viewers back who don't want to miss another major event like that for not watching RAW.
2) This was perfect to get rid of the Authority for some time. HHH/Steph were stale for quite sometime and it was Rollins who was keeping the unit afloat. With him gone, it just fits nicely for them to be taken out.
3) The vacuum of Authority is nicely filled by return of Mr. McMahon character. I expect they'll take Reign down the Stone Cold vs Mr. McMahon route. Should work fine here too.

And finally, as long it gets the title off Sheamus, I'm willing to accept anything.

I was talking about in a kayfabe sense though...why would Sheamus allow that title shot? It would be better to tell Reigns to go to the back of the line.

However, I'm glad too that Sheamus isnt champion. He needs to get over first, then title. With him, they try to get him over by giving him titles. It isnt working.

For WWE to do that in four months, it wont happen, but it could easily be achieved. Destroying heels and faces (mostly faces) could easily be done - especially with powerbombs to the aprons. They could do it if they really wanted.

They will probably put Brock vs braun.

No way. It's been done 3 times already. Rollins stole it first time, he became main contender, then went back to bottom for the tournament. Doesn't make sense to do that again.

From how it sounds, it makes more sense then a heel champion agreeing happily to face somebody hes just beaten but kinda is afraid of, for the title, the night after a PPV (in which he was destroyed at the end).

No, i mean that's what you'd expect Sheamus to say, not ask for another title match the night after a hard-fought defense.

Did Sheamus ask for it? I recall, he came up to cosy up to Vince and offered to beat up Reigns. The title match was Vince's idea, right?

Maybe the WWE know what they're doing? We went from this in January (in Philly)...

to this last night (in Philly)...

I'm still not a fan but WWE have managed to turn the fans around completely it seems like, albeit with a few hiccups along the way.

Big Stronglad is against Taker, that much is pretty certain.

My guess is Sheamus gets his title shot on the big Smackdown on January 5th/6th whenever it is, Trips at the Rumble, possibly a triple threat at Fast Lane, Brock Roman at Mania.

Maybe do Cena Trips at Mania, maybe Rock has decided he'll do Mania despite his kids due date, maybe Trips puts someone from NXT over, maybe Trips doesn't wrestle. Injuries are happening so fast I've lost track of who will probably face who.

Aside from that, have those saying "don't book him as an odds overcoming babyface" ever seen this company? It's their top babyface 101, from Bruno to Larry to Hulk to Austin to Cena.

Think it I shaping up like this...

Triple H vs Rock
Reigns vs Lesnar II
Owens vs Zayn
Cena vs Taker

They started jumping about, dancing and celebrating immediately after telling the Usos and Lucha Dragons they had earned their respect during the ladder match. It was insincere, extremely disrespectful and completely hilarious. I was expecting something like that initially but the way that they held off for so long really sold it.

I would be very interested in a Cena vs. Reigns match... there, I said it.

so would I. Ive liked Roman from WM, hes worked really hard, I just think WWE were doing him no favours at times with some of the stuff they wrote for him. Having him as a badass who beats people up (kinda like how he was in the Shield) is the way to go. Hes a badass and should be portrayed as one, not a goofy smiley Cena wannabe replacement.

The New Day segment was a bit weird. Are they turning face again? What was the point of that?

It was a weird dynamic, but I liked the idea behind it.... taking time out of the show to bring attention to how good their ladder match was (and it was great) and how they've elevated the tag division (which they have).

It's a good way to make people who didn't see it, go out of their way to watch it and... in turn... remember it above being just another good match.

That's it though isn't it? Reigns has consistently delivered on each PPV this year in terms of matches. He's just hamstruck by bad creative choices and being spoon-fed terrible lines.

It'll get better. They'll just move him from Cena v2 to Stone Cold v2 and it'll all be fine.

I'm curious how they play the League of Nations now. It's a powerful stable and I hope they don't make them job for Roman.

I would not mind a sort of Stone Cold 2.0, I guess this rebellious character could work. Would have been even better if they actually fired him and he just ran havoc around the show for a while before the Rumble.

How would you all see Triple H plan out? Maybe he'll win the rumble.

Also:

Barrett, the true leader of the group tbh.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I hope he doesn't get in a match with Reigns. We need a feud with a couple of good matches. Not just all talking and 1 PPV match.

If it was me, I'd go Vince getting angry and setting in a handicap (2vs3) match Reigns + a partner vs League of Nations. In return for a WM title shot, Brock agrees to help Reigns interim. Reigns + Brock vs LoN with Vince throwing in hurdles should be the theme till WM.

Then what do you do with the Rumble winner? Triple Threat?

Brock wins Rumble. He's been on the short end of the stick for some time now. Beat who always ends up on losing side. He lost title to Rollins WM cash in, then Undertaker interference in Battleground, Lost to Taker in SummerSlam and picked up sole PPV victory at HiaC. I say he deserves another PPV win. Reigns dominates Rumble and Brock appears as last contender. They face off, have a great match and Brock wins. Though Reigns retains at WM.

WWE does a lot of stupid shit, but when they do it right, its excellent viewing. Raw overall was really good, but the Roman stuff was just fun to watch.
