Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

They were only behind Zayn as the most over act in Sheffield last night too.

That chant's been going since the first night of the tour apparently, so should be pretty big for Takeover on Wednesday.

Would be a real shame if they weren't on the Takeover card. Oh wait.

The logic was ok, tag match first to pump up the crowd. Sadly they then decide to follow it with this which has killed the crowd.

@phelans shorts you're itk, was there anything substantial to the Russo returning to WWE rumours? Because the booking over the past couple of months reeks of Russo.

Nothing that I know of, but with an out of touch 69 year old running the shots I certainly wouldn't be surprised if some people that he trusts are pushing such terrible ideas to him for their own means.

Certainly not like one of the best politicians in wrestling history has his ear. :wenger:

There's two sides to every story and Ryback's is worth listening to.

I listened to both alright. Ryback comes across ok but Punk is one in a long line who have complained about him. Saying that, Punk is quite clearly a little bitter, but then again I don't blame him too much considering the shit that McMahon/HHH/etc have pulled over the years against some people.

Why are they making Rowen look so fecking weak, make the wyatts and League of Nations power houses and build a feud leading a winner takes all titles Elimination match at SS next year

Personally think Rowen is being made to look weak because he's still injured and they are protecting him. He wasn't supposed to be back till towards the end of the year/early next year. He just appeared out of no where to cover for Luke Harper on one episode of Raw (Luke dropped out a few hours before the show) and he's stuck around since.

On the Pre-Show/Tapings which makes up for it i guess.

Eh, it's like Enzo and Cass at Brooklyn (which was much worse as there was 100% going to be a mega pop there, whereas this time it was merely 95%) where you just have to have these guys on the live show. Recorded ain't the same.

As for Rowan, he's being treated like a geek because he is, basically. He's not the big guy, he's not the worker, he's not the talker, he's just there. Being a blight on pro wrestling.

Thats how you book Reigns. A badass with heel traits who fights the people the crowd dislike most. Was no sense in trying the Cena mk II route.

Reigns is my new favourite after that so hopefully they keep it up

New Royal Rumble logo looks simplistic yet sweet as hell

Reigns reminded me a bit of Stone Cold there. Face who doesn't care about anything or anyone, destroying what he wants. That's what he needs to be.

Just seen the actual angle, they messed up not having a face commentator who's supporting Roman during it, other than that I really enjoyed it. Favourite part probably being Trips selling the chair shots like he was drunken master Jack Evans.

Tag Team match was incredibly good. That Celina de Sol from the ladder was amazing. Expected the win, but Woods shouting "Guess what, it's no disqualification" made me laugh.

Snoozed through Rusev vs Ryback. Predictable result, smart booking.

Del Rio really no sold the Patriot lock did he? Nice finish, rest of the match was meh.

ECW vs Wyatts was good. Rowan was always gonna go through a table, but the match had some good stuff in it. The cheesegrater was funny, such a let down the table was not on fire. Good match for the Wyatts, made them look better.

No way, Ambrose did it! Did not see that one coming, awesome! Great scenes with him rolling into the crowd too! Now that excitement is out of the way, the match itself was quite dissapointing and the finish was about as inspiring as watching paint dry.
Maybe the match needed a stipulation, or do you guys think they will try to make this a best out of 3/5 with a gimmic match in there?

Crowd was not up for Paige vs Charlotte at all. Charlotte going full heel without any real build at all is fecking weird. Decent match, proper heel finish there. Flair looked drunk though!

Fecking shouts for Cena during the Main Event. Ugh. Nice stiff match though with some pretty good spots. Good booking too, although it's odd that Barrett was not there. The moment Roman snapped was very well done I feel, good build up in tension between him and Trips and both Roman's expressions and Trips's selling really made it good.
Irony is that Roman was more over after that snap then he had been all night. Triple H vs Reigns at WM?

Sidenotes: Lillian

Was thinking the same thing actually!

Hunter selling those chair shots

Still gutted we aren't going to get HHH/Rollins anytime soon instead. The story is still there to make it happen in the future though.

All I could think about was... where the feck is Wade Barrett?

Hopefully they explain he was attacking Ambrose, which can set up a feud there.

As much as last night did wonders for Reigns, they'll screw it up tonight by giving him a mic, him putting on a superman show (once again) and having him enter number 1 in the rumble and overcome everyone to win it....

I really despise Stephanie McMahon as a character. She literally gets no comeuppance.

What's the point of letting her slap superstars?

Credit to Roman for taking those slaps. Half his face was so red afterwards

what a horrible and stubborn decision to give Sheamus the title. He was struggling to get over in the mid-card.

The fact that they ignored that , and turned against it just a few weeks later when the ratings tanked shows how poor the decision making was

Not really a fan of Roman, But I marked out when he won the title.

I think it may of been more the fact that RAW meant something for once.

I hate Roman Reigns but last night was brilliant. Finally after a year of complete crap for Reigns (writing department) his character gets over.

Cena vs Reigns at Mania with Cena finally turning heel!

That would be a good Mania main event but I think Cena will face Taker.

I'm not sure who will will RR at this stage, will they strap a rocket to an Ambrose or Owens or aomeone similar?

The ratings have been tanking for a whilst, and to be fair Roman got booed at Survivor Series and the crowd cheered when Sheamus cashed in. Him winning at Survivor Series, when everyone knew it was designed to have him win, wouldn't of got him over.

I don't want to give creative this much credit but If Sheamus didn't win the title, TLC and last night wouldn't of happened and Reigns wouldn't be over.

I think they are obviously setting up for a HHH vs Reigns at Wrestlemania.

I think it will be Lesnar. He's beaten the likes of Cena and Triple H repeatedly since returning and the Taker feud is over so I can't see where else he fits other than the title match.
