Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Are you sure they weren't chanting, "Go A-way"?
Would not surprise me either to be fair.

Anyway. Are we going to do predictions for TLC then or does no one give a shit anymore?

Sheamus (c) vs Roman Reigns (TLC Match for the WHC)
With help from the League of Nations.

Kevin Owens (c) vs Dean Ambrose (Intercontinental Championship Match)
Can't see Ambrose win yet, he does not have enough momentum for me.

The New Day (c) vs The Usos vs The Lucha Dragons (Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match for the Tag Team Championship)
Either Lucha's win (after pinning New Day twice in a week) or there will be shenanigans that will have New Day Retain.

Charlotte (c) vs Paige (Diva's Championship Match)
Charlotte, with help from Daddy Flair. Complete heel turn?

ECW Originals vs The Wyatt Family (8-man Tag Team Elimination Tables Match)
They have to go over. Bray to dominate the entire match I hope. Rowan getting a Gore through a table.

Alberto Del Rio (c) vs Jack Swagger (Chairs match for the US Championship)
Yawn. Del Rio retains.

My predictions are exactly the same as yours so not going to copy and paste it, lol. But tbh, only KO vs Dean and the tag match really interests me (from a match perspective). The rest I dont care about - of course having not watched raw/SD might be a reason, but they also seem predictable mostly.

No, I totally agree. Besides tag team and KO/Ambrose (ok and maybe Wyatts) I do not care much about TLC at all. Seems to be the general sentiment around.

First time that NXT was not that impressive I think. Still excited for Takeover next week, but the crowd was quite dead and maybe the card just had one match too many on it.

I thought it was a good show to build to the main one, kinda "by the numbers" but not that its a bad thing. It pretty much had build to every match and made each one seem important (as it should be)

Thought the crowd was ok.

So what's the deal with Wednesday's show? Is it live as In 8pm uk time or is it 'as live' as in 1am uk time?

8PM live.

I'm really looking forward to the Asuka vs Emma match, I can't see any way that it won't be the best match on the show.

It also really struck me before how much the main roster of WWE is like United at the moment. It's tumescent, it's pretty much unwatchable, you just can't see how it's going to get better and it's run by someone who seems to be completely oblivious to what the people who pay them want.

At least WWE don't have that emotional investment so you can just ignore them a bit and just watch good stuff.

I came to the realisation the other day that I am only paying the network fee for NXT.

If I was paying the UK price there is not a chance that I would still be on the Fedwork. The deal that Progress had for a super cheap first month has given me plenty to watch when I want something and the New Japan tag league so I even fell behind on NXT. In fact that reminds me that I'm still an episode behind.

I'm still "watching" it.

By "watching", I mean fast forward through it and only actually watch 15 minutes out of 190. Less than 10%.

They've a total monopoly on the sport/industry and a lot of talented wrestlers yet they could feck up anything. Their best decisions have been to stay out when they accidentally do something right.

Based on how bad it is now, I really do believe they actually did screw up the Daniel Bryan thing a while back, rather than it being some brilliant booking to build an underdog narrative like some said.

I'm literally listening to reviews and checking out anything that sounds any good, but it's been a while. Based on recent events they totally lucked into the Bryan thing, they're trying the same with Roman which proves that they completely didn't understand why it worked for Bryan.

Yep. The worst part is that the only other guy they have who counts as a star is Dean Ambrose and he keeps playing back up to Reigns rather than focus on his own (and more interesting) title fight. They also didn't have the stones to turn either Reigns or Ambrose heel and instead got 4 average heels together in a team to compensate. Over the last year the only two people I was interested in was Lesnar and Rollins and without them, RAW does a good impression of our defence right now.

Same for me pretty much, listen to a podcast reviewing it and look at the YouTube highlights.

You can just watch ppvs these days and miss nothing.

Went to NXT Sheffield tonight. T'was great fun... the crowd were into every match and everyone looked to be having great fun.

My mate who I was going with had an operation on his leg earlier in the week and was in a full leg cast, so we got moved to some disabled area seats... which made for a great view.

So here's a tip... just before you go to a WWE event, injure yourself.

Good chance that's MOTN. HHH was talking that match up quite a bit a few days back so expect they're going to get a good amount of time here. Pumped for it, Asuka has been spot on since she arrived, easily my favorite in the company right now.

NXT, LU and when I can ROH. Thats not a bad three hours of wrestling per week.

Is TLC tonight?

That shows how little interest I have paid recently, just FF through RAW and falling asleep during Survivor Series. It's been dire. I might watch TLC though, hoping things will improve. #GluttonForPunishment.

Yeah, I'm working so will have nothing better to do. Looking forward to Wednesday though.

Paige is 11/4 to win. Guessing Charlotte will get DQ'ed to keep the title since she's copying Daddy now so those odds seem tempting.

Is this still shit?
WWE? Yes. Wrestling? No.

Plenty of great wrestling to watch if you know where to find it. Lucha Underground is awesome, as is NXT. ROH and NJPW can also be great if you can find it.

I'll probably give TLC a watch tomorrow. Well the tag match, Ambrose/Owens and the main event. Nothing else interests me at all looking at the line up.

Anyone checking Twitter with all the NXT Blackpool tweets?

Jordan and Gable are the most over people in this entire company. Chad just has megastar written all over him.

They were only behind Zayn as the most over act in Sheffield last night too.

That chant's been going since the first night of the tour apparently, so should be pretty big for Takeover on Wednesday.

Is the network down for anybody else? I can't watch feck all at the moment.
