Well that's one reason. The other is that he's now no longer a factor in the HW division. After losing to Overeem it was clear that he's not cut out for it. He's taken 3 nice beatings in as many fights.

He was never going to reach 10 MMA fights though. Apparently the plan was to beat Overeem, move onto JDS and retire with the belt. Let's be honest he's not up to the striking. He just gave up against Overeem, and only beat Mir because Frank decided to sit on the bottom and wait for a submission. I was thoroughly underwhelmed by Lesnar's entire MMA career.
