Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Why have I been so sucked in to the Steph vs Brie angle. Brie can't act, neither can wrestle and I can't look away, what's happening to me

Brie is so bad. She tries to do really dramatic pauses before shouting 'bitch' or trash' in a stupid voice which really jars and makes me cringe. She's below SyFy Mega Shark level acting she really is.

She's fine up until she has to *dramatic pause* SHOUT. Her voice is way to shrill.

I thought everyone knew the Kevin Dunn story was a joke.

From WrestlingNewsSource:
While details are still coming in from various sources & wrestlers, the story going around this morning is that Del Rio slapped a Social Media Manager at this weeks television (Likely Raw, since he wasn't on Smackdown).

The lead up to the confrontation started in catering, when sombody (assuming a catering staff member) asked the person (the Social Media Manager) to clean off his plate. The social media manager then joked about how that's "Del Rios Job".

Alberto found out and confronted him. The Social Media Manager didn't apologize and then smiled at him, so Del Rio slapped him.

In the company, the belief is that Del Rio will have his 90 days non-compete clause as per standard in the WWE, which will prevent a move to atleast TNA and more than likely AAA. AAA will be very interested in him, as they continue interest in its U.S. growth.

And this is what PWMania reported:
As PWMania.com reported, WWE released Alberto Del Rio on Thursday for what they called an incident with an employee.

A third source has now reported that Del Rio allegedly slapped a WWE.com worker at this week’s TV tapings. The story going around is that Del Rio said he was responding to something said that he felt was racist in nature.

It was also said that WWE will not be commenting on the situation beyond the announcement that was made on their website yesterday.

PWMania.com also reported how Del Rio has expressed interest in leaving WWE once his contract expired this year. Del Rio recently relocated to Texas, which gave some people in WWE the impression that he moved to be closer to Mexico once his WWE run was over.

Del Rio should have gone further and broke the guy's right arm.

Jesus, if what WNS say is what the guy actually said, Del Rio went soft on him. That being said, they don't even know that Main Event is filmed (and airs live FFS) before the Smackdown recording, so I highly doubt they know anything at all.

So a guy made a disparaging joke behind Del Rio's back, refused to apologise when confronted and then smiled at him?

If true, no wonder Del Rio slapped him.

I was trying to make a joke not further the discussion! I don't really care anyway, but if it's true it makes both people sound like twats. Just clean the fecking plate.

Not in the remotest way are these two incidents comparable.

No, Punk's is worse.

It's not only assault on an innocent member of the crowd, but it's a massive PR nightmare for the company when the present champion hits a member of the "WWE Universe".

What happens in front of millions is far worse than what apparently happens out of sight in front of tens.

TBF he did get pushed twice so can understand why he reacted that way.

That vid also explains why this is the first time I have heard about it. stopped following wrestling completely for a while and missed all of punks reign.

The guy who pushed him twice was a row behind the guy who got socked in the face by punk. The guy who actually did it bragged about it on Twitter and the guy who got hit didn't press charges on Punk.

Yes, I saw the vid. Thats why I said I understood why he reacted that way not that he was right to do so. From his pov the guy pushed him and then put his hands on him when putting his sunglasses or something.

There is no comparison at all.

Punk was being attacked due to shoddy security by the arena staff. He may have been retaliating but it was to a physical attack upon him, the fact he hit the wrong person was unfortunate, but understandable.

Del Rio has attacked a member of staff with others in the vicinity, responding to verbal confrontation. Whilst his response was reasonable in my opinion you cannot attack someone in the workplace and expect to get away with it. Simple.

There's also the completely different outside influences, namely money. If you haven't noticed WWE are in a massive cost cutting exercise, any minor infringement could see someone out of the door, and this wasn't a minor infringement. This was not the case when the Punk incident occurred.

Looking at things in such a black and white way does not help in any way. It removes all of the important information.

Could this be some kind of strange work? Taking shots at a fired employee on their official Twitter is not how WWE usually operates.

It's not a work.

Consider this, whoever Del Rio had the conflict with was a social media manager. It's very much possible that they may have the companies twitter password, or someone close to them may.

If this were a work they'd do it on someone a hell of a lot bigger/more relevant than Alberto.

TBH if it is a storyline its the most interesting thing the guy has been involved in for the last few years or so.

Work is looking likely, might actually something interesting for the feckless article to do for once.

If he misses a few weeks, perhaps he'll go learn how to do a fecking armbar.

I watched my 1st full episode of raw tonight for maybe 7-8 years?

Steph and trips still are amazing heels. They had to work with such rubbish but still pulled it off.

I'm not overly fond of the main guy from the shield (in the street clothes) as a face but he has proper potential to be a big star in wwe. The other two lads from the shield I don't think are good at all.

Kane and RVD makes me sad. Kane is just worthless

I thought the guy Heath slater was meant to be an up and comer. Why did they give him that angle? It never works

Stardust? Golddust was never over for me apart from his entrance, I can't believe they are still going with it.

Ryback looks like a freak. He reminded my of Rhyno who I really liked. But he was shite

The promo with lesner and cena was top notch. Wwe do great promos

I actually like Heath Slater. His Clem character on the JBL & Cole show is great, and he's really good in the ring at making other people look good with his selling - probably why he was the one they picked to do the angle where he faced all the legends (and lost).

Ehem, he did beat Doink.

Goldy has been in the best shape of his career since his return! Sadly he hasn't been given promo time with other superstars to really do his bit but I'm a fan of him and Stardust.

Although in all honesty I just want to be Stardust at Halloween, and I'm fecking odd.

Heath Slater has been a comedy jobber for years.

Is Rollins and Ambrose seriously a lumberjack match for Summerslam?

Out of all the stipulations why pick that one?

2nd biggest PPV, gives all the other superstars a role in the show. Even if it is them just standing about at ringside.

The logic will be so Rollins can't run away, but I'm expecting just that for them to square off in a cage or cell at NOC.

Ruined around the time they decided to take his mask off in 2003(ish). Lost alot of muscle mass after his injury back in 2002, came back with a newer look and much leaner, not a total lost cause, but then came the Katie Vick storyline, before he was finally de-masked. I stopped watching the show then, though i've seen bits and pieces since, he needs to retire asap. The Kane I remember from 1997-2001 had the potential to do whatever he wanted, think Vince dropped the ball with him more than anyone else in the history of the company.

Kane was almost too unselfish throughout his career. Always aimed to do what was best for the WWE over what was best for Kane.

Turned down multiple title runs, and apparently the streak, though they say many wrestlers, including Angle and Orton turned down the streak.
