Cesaro got eliminated by Heath Slater

He's lost all his momentum since Wrestlemania. Same as Wyatt.
WWE Creative ruined his momentum by sticking him with Heyman, but I read that there's no room for him to be pushed, with Reigns, Rollins, Cena, etc. Makes sense right now.

I really don't know how or why WWE struggle to build and develop their performers.

At the moment they are doing a good job with the old Shield members but not really developing anyone else and in Cesaro's case, he's being damaged.

I like Roman Reigns but as he is getting a very big push, some of the fanbase will turn on him because some of the other talented guys don't get much to work with.

There are a couple of things they got wrong with Cesaro: changing his theme music, transforming him into a cowardly heel, and Heyman bragging about the streak. He'll get his push towards the end of the year IMO, but there are basic things that could have been done a bit better.

Maybe. I always thought they would get round to pushing Ziggler last year after he lost to Del Rio and he just kept on losing more and more. I really don't get if they are looking to develop someone why they would have him eliminated by someone like Slater, especially after they ended his alliance with Heyman.

My point still stands.

It's funny how the leaked advert mentions the match but not how it's a title match isn't it.

It's going to happen. I'm not sure what your point is that stands? You said it's so stupid WWE would never do it in a million years, yet it's happening. I thought it was obvious at the time that it was going to happen.

Yeah, to be honest, ever since Lesnar beat the streak I thought it was obvious he would have a title reign at some point - it is the only logical next step. Whoever beats Lesnar for the title will be the 'next big thing', so probably Reigns or Rollins. John Cena doesn't have that air of invincibility any more, but Lesnar with Heyman will. I think it needed to be a strong heel to go on a rampage and Lesnar just fits the bill better than anyone on the roster. Heyman will do all the talking and he's better at that than anyone, which just sells the angle even more for the guy who eventually topples Lesnar.

Can't see any reason to use any other story after Lesnar beat the streak, what else could they do? And why would John Cena fight Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam not for the title? The only way that's not going to happen is if Rollins manages to cash in, but the obvious angle here is that Rollins is never going to be safe from Ambrose interfering so cashing in is too much of a risk while this heat is around. They're probably going to end their feud at SummerSlam as well.

That tag match to open the PPV was incredible - one of the best 2 vs. 2 tag matches I've seen for ages. Nothing else on the show had a hope in hell of living up to that one...

I've just been crusing the interwebs... turns out that quite a lot of people don't like The Uso's, which I find completely bizarre.

Maybe it's just a reaction of Harper/Rowan losing... but regardless, the Uso's have been consistantly excellent through this whole year, what is there not to appreciate?

I like The Usos, but I didn't like the ending to that match. I thought that would have been the perfect time to put the belts on the Wyatts, especially after Rowan's double Superplex and Harper's "feck your superkicks, I'm clotheslining you" moment. I'm not sure how WWE think the Wyatt Family is going to get over when they lose every big match they're in, and that includes Bray.

There's no way anyone could think the Harper and Rowan aren't a great team after that match though - that was the sort of match where everyone comes out looking like a winner.

Also, whilst I wouldn't have been against a title switch - in an age when everyone laments how the secondary titles are passed around like hot potatoes, and how it in-turn devalues the titles - isn't it a good thing that the belts are kept on a strong tag team?

Also, the Uso's are still hot, still over, and are still having great matches - the titles don't need to be off them, where as it's easier to transition Rowan and Harper off to other things that are still meaningful.

Presumably Jericho and Wyatt goes again at Summerslam?

I find their characters to be somewhat bland. Obviously, they can deliver some great matches but apart from the entrance thing they really don't strike me as interesting. Still, that's just my personal opinion of them.

That's quite a good point. Although I'm not sure that's a criticism that can be leveled at the tag titles lately. Since Air Boom's 146 day reign in 2011, only the NAO have held the belts for less than 100 days (a 36 day reign). In fact, the average length of a reign since Air Boom has been four months, which is a definite improvement on the quick-change reigns we had before then.

I think it might be the time to start finding new opponents for both teams now. Off the top of my head though, I can only think of Rybaxel and The Dusts as teams that they could face, and they're not really fresh ideas. So WWE obviously need to call up Kidd and Gabriel and stick them against The Usos.

Nice of them to include so many pictures of her.

He'll come back. Win the Rumble and beat Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

Because it would of been tbf. That and Borking the streak, jesus wept, amazing.

Also he's insufferable in that interview.
I know I'm in a minority but I still really like punk, I think he's opinionated and principled and although I disagree with him leaving the company I still think he's just being as honest as he can be
