They have however signed Willie Mack, who I never heard of til today and already love. A man who at first glance should not be capable of the things he is.

DANCE-OFF – FANDANGO VS MARK HENRY
This was an audience’s choice match, with fans voting on Twitter between a dance-off and a match. Dance-off won out (some boos were audible at that decision), but the dance-off was hilarious: after Fandango had done his usual schtick with Layla, the lights went out, and when they came back on, Henry was wearing a glittering Michael Jackson glove and started shaking to Billie Jean. My girlfriend couldn’t stop laughing – and to be fair Henry was truly hilarious. After overcoming Fandango’s jealous attack with a World’s Strongest Slam, Henry brought two kids into the ring to dance with him before departing.

He was in a tag team with Sami Zayn in PWG, called "2 Husky Black Guys." Thus ends my knowledge of Willie Mack.
I haven't really been into wrestling since the attitude era but went to RAW yesterday (free tickets from work). One thing I noticed is that people REALLY dislike Batista and John Cena which confused me, especially Cena as he is a face character I believe? Why all the hate?
Cena is boring and always win. Having something push down your throats for ten plus years is bound to make people hat it.
Batista is a heel so he is suppose to get the hate.
Cena explained in a post above, but Batista was meant to return as a face, but came back at a time when everybody wanted Daniel Bryan to win the title at Wrestlemania, and when Batista won the Royal Rumble, the crowd shat on it, and he was turned heel due to them having no real choice basically. You can only have so many of your top faces being booed out the arena

During the Stephanie promo there was supposedly Punk chants, but they seemed to edit it into a generic roar from the crowd, despite showing somebody in the crowd clearly chanting "CM Punk"
I caught that one, but sounded like either half the people were chanting "you suck", so it was all muddled.
They were definitely saying CM Punk. Quite a few times. He seemed quite popular. A lot of people were wearing his T-Shirt also. Is there some story? Was he fired or something?
He turned up one day, and said "I'm off lads".
Upped and left in the build up to WM, he was supposed to work with Trips but Punk was / is fairly banged up and carrying a number of injuries... So he walked!
I think it was more than just the physical stuff though. He just looked burned out emotionally too.
yeah thats kinda what I meant..I think its mix of all aspects, physically and mentally... they've some tough job out on the road as much as they are, thats before they even get near a ring!
I think he is a good wrestler and all don't get me wrong but I think people completely over hype him...for me he is still a long way off being one of the greats!!
One of those people is Punk himself. I agree, he's very good. At one point he probably was the "best in the world" but in terms of the grand scheme of things he's not right up there with the top guys. Of course it depends what the criteria is you base it on but for me he isn't. I'd like to see him back one day though. Not sure how likely it is. I heard he was marrying A.J? Not sure if that is true or not though.

Agreed, he just seems off that level from the likes of Trips, Austin, Taker, Lesnar, Michaels and The Rock... Yet he's faced almost all them at some time or other... He is probably the best of this generation, but this generation is sadly not as good as past generations... 33 in couple weeks an been watching pretty much all my life and I can state for fact he isn't anywhere near the level he or his groupies build him up to be!!
I'd actually have Cena ahead of him. But I'm usually in the minority when it comes to John Cena.

But for the merch he brings in and the like yep he is ahead of him, has his moments as well on the mic... he just needs a change of character badly!! I thought we might get it with Wyatt recently but with Bryan injured now seems Cena will probably be pushed to the stars again!!!!! Ugh!!!
I think he is underrated in the ring. He's had some good matches over his career, and not just because he was carried by the other guy. But yeah, definitely in merch sales and ratings, and PPV buys. I'd like to see some character modification though.
True, his matches with Michaels we're great...but Michaels could get a great match out of anybody!! Michaels rarely had bad matches, if at all...his worst might of been against Austin at WM14 when passing the torch... Aside from that, his match against Hogan a few years back was hilarious!

Cena isn't a bad wrestler, he can have decent matches. What gripes me with Cena is that its so obvious when he's calling moves in the ring. Like seriously, use your inside voice Cena.

You don't have as many GREAT matches as John Cena has being awful. Especially not when some of the matches are against the likes of Khali.
Just look at his match against Cesaro from Raw not long ago, are you telling me that Cesaro carried him? If you are, I suggest instead of believing everything you are told you actually engage your brain and watch what's going on.

People confuse Cena's character with his wrestling ability. Cena's character is the AA outta nowhere no sell a match worth of offense, if he has to sell and wrestle he can.

He's had ok to good matches with a few others but 5 star matches that are genuine contenders for MOTY... only ones I can recall are against Michaels....

Every wrestler botches. Shelton Benjamin who was an incredible wrestler botched in every single match. HBK has botched his superkick countless times. Jericho botched the RKO - could have been Orton's fault but its hardly a sign of a terrible wrestler.
CM Punk matches....the one from RAW especially.
Cena is good wrestler. And say piss ffs.
