Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

This might sound really retarded but why don't they they make just smackdown pg? Raw could be brilliant.
PG isn't a problem, most most of WWE/F's best eras have been PG. You're actually allowed blood, violence and language to a degree with PG, as it means it's on the parents to decide should their child watch the show, not that it's purely child friendly.

Raw's been very good two weeks in a row, something is wrong, if this keeps up, people might actually start watching it live again.

Original Doink could have been one of the biggest things in pro wrestling if they'd gone with it, as a technically sound wrestler who bombarded his opponents with psychological warfare and got in their heads before they had a match, ala Chucky, The Joker, or even like how Undertaker does. But instead, they turned the character into a joke and had him running around with midget clowns.

RIP original Doink

I never understood the point of Doink and nor did I ever find it even remotely funny.

Aye, that was incredibly sinister.

Shame they turned to the jokes, still popping out of the bins and pie facing people was fun, though I'm not sure was that Osborne, or a replacement.

Yeah it was a replacement when they turned him, and Osborne went to ECW. In ECW he had a kind of split personality gimmick, where he was tortured himself psychologically from having to play the character of Doink.

I never understood the point of Doink and nor did I ever find it even remotely funny.

If you have seen The Joker from Batman, either Heath Ledger's in The Dark Knight, or Mark Hammil's version in the Animated Series in the early 90's, that was basically what Doink should have been. He wasnt meant to be funny when Osborne had the gimmick

Seems like the only way to get some of the lower card any TV time these days.

I see Zack Ryder getting squashed like 5 weeks in a row just so he could be on RAW / Smackdown.

I love a Dean Ambrose, 1-1 with a camera promo. Just give him the MITB briefcase and let us enjoy the next 6 months
One of the best promo guys in the business, and should his career continue on the likely path, I'd not be surprised if he ranks amongst the best ever.

One of my fave promos, despite never having watched DGUSA ever, heh.

If by watching RAW, you mean listen to a podcast reviewing RAW tomorrow morning, then watching any bits that need to be seen when I get home from work, then yes... I am indeed watching RAW tonight.

3 hours of RAW is too much to sit through... 3 hours with adverts is like some form of cruel, unusual torture.

I'll watch it up until it gets crap, or I just can't stay awake

I'll be watching it til about 3 (when I need to sleep really) but if it looks good in the first 2 hours, I'll stay up an additional hour and just suffer tomorrow

Enjoyable so far. Mainly down to D-Bry, The Shield and Ziggy

Pretty decent so far, the Kane-Orton match carried on the set up for D-Bry's push, I have no idea who they plan on turning heel out of the three of them though

Summer Rae is stupidly hot

A third good show on the bounce, isn't that a sign of the apocalypse?

They do appear to be building up to HHH Vs Vince at Summerslam though.

More likely to be somebody representing Vince?

Although Vince is mad enough to try it himself.
