got third place in a Juan Mata lookalike contest
Wait, how old is that picture? Because he's only a white belt.
Hello wrestle people, I was listening to the MMA hour (an internet podcast about mixed martial arts) and CM Punk was on it. CM Punk is a huge MMA fan and was at the last UFC show, he also does Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Anyway, the interviewer asked him several times, well sort of hinted at it, about him actually fighting in MMA and CM Punk sort of kept dodging the question or making a joke of it. Is it possible he might transition over?
Angle almost got his arm broken by one of the Tough Enough contestants ages ago.
I always really liked Angle. He was a funny guy as well as being very gifted physically. Shame he's not in the WWE, a good fued between him and Lesnar would be great.
God when I was a kid it seemed like those two were always either feuding with each other or the Big Show.
Oh snap!!
Ryback @Ryback22
Watching the pain on Cena's face was worth standing back for. Funny the 2 things he says I lack his ex wife seems to love. #RybackRules
First time in god knows how long that I genuinley considered turning off after Ziggler lost to Swagger. A night of some of the worst booking in god knows how long. Cesaro loses the title to fecking Kofi, Truth fecking pins Barrett and then Ziggler loses a week after winning the world fecking title. Ridiculous all around.
The only sense that can be made out of Kofi beating Cesaro is that they're going to have him drop the title to Fandango very soon and that's why they made the title switch. Truth going over Barrett is a mind boggling decision.
Considering the number of people who boo Cena and the popularity of the Feed Me More chant, I think Ryback will struggle to get heat.
Yeah it was a bit mad. I think they're trying to make Ziggler look like a dodgy Champion but still it's a bit silly.
Apparently Vince doesn't like Cesaro so that'll explain that but Truth pinning Barrett was daft as feck.
They've more or less killed the Fandago thing, that was just ridiculously forced.
I think Raw told you how most crowds will react to the two, Cena will always be the more popular one in less the smarky areas (which WWE spend more time in). Smarks dont even really like Ryback so he won't be cheered to the levels of the likes of Punk when going up against Cena.
I think they're going down the right route with those two, Ryback obviously needs a mouth piece though, Heyman perhaps with Punk leaving, think someone has suggested that in this thread.
Yeh Orton's pretty beige, just no personality when he's talking. I got a bit bored of Sheamus during his World Title run, but his matches against Big Show turned it around for me. They were really well done. Not a fan of the amount of cheese his promos have taken on but such is the WWE.I'm fairly certain that the whole titles thing has been caused by Miz picking up an injury against Barrett, it's odd how he's just disappeared, they need to keep the face/heel champion dynamic right so boom, face becomes US champion instead. Hopefully Cesaro can get a raise now, even though he seems to be being saddled with pathetic stuff like yodelling.
Anyone else REALLY not see the Taker match happening next week? I mean, you don't waste a Taker match on a Raw, have it at a PPV. Punk being out until post-Summerslam is going to test them a lot, but building the likes of Cesaro, Barrett etc... could make up for it, there's enough talent about.
On Wade, his title defence on Main Event this week was fantastic. I'll not say more as they open with a number one contender match.
I'm really sick of Orton and Sheamus btw. They're both horrendous as babyfaces. That said, I've never been a fan of either so, meh.

What the feck is this bullshit yodelling thing that Cesaro is failing badly at when he comes to the ring now.
This crowd is trying way too hard to copy the post WM crowd.
Really? Not sure what gave you that impression. Absolute shit crowd, made us look ridiculous really when you consider we only get a certain amount of live shows over here. Crowd was utter dire for the most part, barring Jericho, Taker and Fandango. No real atmosphere at all in the actual matches. We usually have much better crowds than this, strange.
I think what he meant was trying hard and failing miserably.
It sounded like a low-rent imitation act... quite embarrasing really, especially when they chanted "We are Awesome" (Note: you weren't)

I was there last night and it was absolutely rocking from start to finish so I don't get where your coming from at all.
this
It didnt come across well on tv at all, the crowd seemed to me more like they were trying to get themselves over than the people in the matches. Fair enough a couple of weeks ago the crowd was chanting for everything bar the wrestlers during the Orton-Sheamus match where neither wrestler is particularly popular, but last night the crowd seemed to be doing the same even during the Jericho-Ziggler match which considering how 'smarky' UK crowds usually are was surprising. The crowd was amazing. Much better than the silence we usually get week in week out. I haven't watched it on sky yet, but if it appeared subdued its because it was edited that way for TV.
Very impressed with The Shield, particualrly Rollins, who I think is the best out of the 3 of them. But they really need a new entrance theme as the generic 2003 midcard theme shouldn't be used for a group who is becoming a focal point of the show.
Not a fan of what they're doing with Ryback. I don't think it was a good idea to take the one good guy that actually had the ENTIRE audience behind him unlike Cena and Sheamus and turn him heel and even stupider to make a guy that big into a whiny bitch. Cena vs Ryback is a great idea, but they should've kept them as is like they did with Warrior/Hogan and Austin/Rock. I'm willing to bet that Ryback joins The Shield at Extreme Rules.
