Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Could ziggler cash in during the Punk/Ryback match while both are out of it on the floor or is that now allowed? Would save rybacks streak but obviously means punk would lose the title

Yeah I'm wondering about Ryback. I can't see them giving him the title yet, but at the same time he's been squashing everyone. Everyone. Unstoppable, if he just gets stopped, his whole build up is just going to be a bit, meh.

Next month is Survivor Series, which is one of the "big" PPVs, so here's my prediction: Heyman engineers Brock Lesnar coming out to save the title for Punk. Lesnar faces Ryback at SurSer.

Possibly.

Pissed off, wanted to watch this on TV but my fecking Sky+HD box refuses to recognise my phone line. Twat.

Is your box not working because of that? It's on Sky Sports 1 so I might at least record it.

Lesnar interfering is a finish that's doing the rumour rounds quite a bit. This is almost a lose-lose situation:

Punk wins (clean): Ryback's undefeated streak ends. Doesn't look as dominant anymore.

Ryback wins: Punk's 343 day title reign down the toilet.

Seems like a dirty finish is in order. I don't know whether the writers were thinking clearly since this is a no DQ match!

The difference is that the WWE hasn't made nearly as much of Ryback being undefeated as WCW did for Goldberg, (possibly cuz WWE's less in denial that their fans aren't aware of Ryback's losses as Skip Sheffield,) and I don't think it really kills his heat any if his title match loses because he's screwed by a Lesnar attack.

Are they trying to make people forget about Ziggler's MITB briefcase?

They only have a certain number of dates that they can use Brock, so if they used him here then they'd have to scrap a future appearance.

Watched the ending and thought it was pretty weak. Don't watch much anymore, and I know that continuity isn't the most important thing in WWE but :

Why did the ref wait that long to interfere? Surely he could have fast counted earlier
Why was heyman so worried about the match if he had the ref in his back pocket?
Punk should have GTSd Ryback before the pin. A low blow is a pretty weak (relatively) move to score even a fast count

As a side note the cell looked huuuuge. Imagine if ryback fell while climbing it :nervous:

I reckon it could turn out that it was Cena that paid the ref off. It was the same ref that missed Punks foot on the bottom rope a few weeks back on raw when Cena beat him.

Why would Cena want punk to win? Scared of Ryback?

Imagine it broke after he did his finisher to Punk on top of it.

I was a little disappointed that it didn't.

I'm probably talking rubbish but maybe it's part of a Cena heel turn? They seem to be booking Cena differently at the moment What with the whole AJ affair thing.

Seriously, if you're gonna go down that route. You may as well ask why do wrestlers bounce back off the ropes and straight into their opponents? Why don't wrestlers just use their finishing at the beginning of a match? etc...etc..

I thought the ref turn was a good way of doing it, you can say for sure that nobody expected that to happen!.

I love the way the ref jumped on rybacks legs while cm punk had the pin, just to make sure he kept him down

It played out pretty much how i expected, although i thought punk would look a little stronger than he showed.

I guess they are trying to build a monster face, and for sure its working.

Quite a strong looking line up for the SS match. It was very predictable exactly who Mick's team was going to be after seeing Punk's team which essentially was 'whoever is currently having a fued with someone on Punk's team.'

A good lineup though.

The Rocks traps in that hulk picture are ridiculous! I wonder what weight he shrugs?
