Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

It does go to show exactly how big wrestlers are though, Mayweather isn't exactly a small man and he looks like a child next to the big show.

My uncle whose about 6 ft tall and quite muscular said when he met them even Cena made him feel tiny. Also said the great Khaly is ridiculously big in person.

The Great Khali was ridiculously huge when I met him before, he couldn't even hold a normal pen in his hand. His hands were like baseball mitts.

The Big Show is huge as well, he stood on my foot. It might as well been a truck going over my foot. Undertaker and Kane are both ridiculously tall, I honestly don't know who would be taller.

1) To see Undertaker stretch his undefeated streak.
This is a given, isn't it? I mean - surely the WWE wouldn't ruin something as big as the streak?

Does anyone actually think it might go the other way?

Especially when you consider that HHH has already lost to the Taker at mania, it'd a be like a bitch slap on the face of every wrestling fan.

He'll likely win it, yes. I think he went on record before as saying if anybody would end the streak, he'd want it to be Kane.

When he faced Orton several years ago, a small part of me thought maybe Orton would win seeing as he was being hyped as the Legend Killer. Then the last two years, I kind of thought HBK would maybe win one of them but it didn't happen. Could you imagine if they had Taker v John Cena at Wrestlemania? It wouldn't actually surprise me if they had Cena win seeing as he's their golden boy.

When I was little and used to wrestling I used to actually fear for The Rock and Austin's life should they ever fight the Undertaker.

I don't think they'd have Cena win it, They could probably have Cena on the losing end of things for months and it wouldn't affect sales - If Undertaker loses at Wrestlemania it'd probably change the way he's remembered and it could possibly effect how they can use him when he retires.

How long does Wrestlemania normally last?
Tonight it's schedules for 1:00-4:30am

When I was little and used to wrestling I used to actually fear for The Rock and Austin's life should they ever fight the Undertaker.
I know what you mean, every time the lights go off my heart skips a beat.

I've read that the original plan was for Orton to end it and Undertaker was okay with it, but Orton wasn't because he had so much respect. That was probably the last realistic contender. There's no point in having an established veteran win it. You're putting over someone who's already over. It has to either live on or it has to be a youngster who has really captured the crowd. It has to be the push of all pushes if it's going to take down something that sacred, because the moment it's over will be replayed over and over again. So it has to be something that shows up on a highlight reel as the moment everyone knew this superstar was for real.

That's why I hate that they put so much focus on the streak now, because we know it's not going to end this time. No way the boss's son-in-law is going to go up to the biggest legend in the business backstage and propose to kill off one of the most legendary parts of Wrestlemania lore. He'd just get way too much stick for it.

Really? I have respect for Orton there. HHH is an asshole, if he wins I'll be angry and I don't even watch wrestling anymore.

Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio

The Miz vs. John Cena

Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

Seeing as I have to leave the house at 8:30 tomorrow I've decided I'm having breakfast during Wrestlemania, so I've got myself a bacon sandwich and shit loads of crumpets. :D

Is there some kind of "insider trading" law which stops the people who are making all the shite up having a sneaky wager?

I would hope so, though online gambling is mostly illegal in the US so that would cover most of it. You can place a bet in Vegas, but they don't hold the event there so it's probably not a big issue. I'm sure there'd be a huge investigation if serious money changed hands.

Yeah that's stupid, there would be a lot of people on the booking team/staff that would know the result.

The Corre vs. The Corre vs. Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Michael Cole w/ Jack Swagger. Special Guest Referee: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes

John Morrison, Trish Stratus & Snooki vs. Laycool & Dolph Ziggler

United States Championship: Sheamus (C) vs. Daniel Bryan

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk (sadly)

World Heavyweight Championship: Edge (C) vs. Alberto Del Rio

WWE Championship: The Miz (C) vs. John Cena

The Undertaker vs. Triple H

The Corre vs. Big Show, Kane, Santino & Kozlov: There's really nothing to be gained by putting the face team over. Really, Kane doing the air trombone was as much a victory as could be gained. Meanwhile, the Corre can still be a dominant heel faction if and only if they don't get jobbed out in this otherwise meaningless match.

Lawler vs. Cole. There's no other way this can end other than Cole taking a piledriver.

Mysterio vs Rhodes

Morrison, Stratus & Useless Idiot vs Dolph Ziggler & Laycool

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan. Really hoping they don't waste Bryan like they did Kaval.

Orton vs Punk, which is unfortunate, because Punk has absolutely carried this feud from start to finish.

Undertaker vs HHH

Edge vs Alberto Del Rio

The Miz vs John Cena due to Rock's interference. Rock/Cena is the headline match at the next PPV. Miz feuds with someone else, probably Orton.

The Corre vs Big Show, Kane, Santino and Kozlov - Potential in this Corre storyline, might as well keep them as they are now for future, bigger rivalries.

Lawler vs Cole - Obvious one really, a really overplayed storyline too, expect JR to do something at some point too.

Mysterio vs Rhodes - Quite an obvious one, and a very bizarre storyline.

Morrison, Trish & hideous creature vs Dolph and Laycool - Expect Vicki to attempt to interfere and mess it up, letting that thing pin Dolph

Sheamus vs Bryan - We all know how ridiculously wasted Bryan is, and Sheamus is overly played, can't see past him

Orton vs Punk - Fighting to a victory without his crew, that's just the kind of thing they love, expect it to be the fight(ish) of the night.

Undertaker vs HHH - Expect interferences for HHH from HBK with the Undertaker somehow rising every time.

Edge vs Del Rio - The closest of the night for me, reckon Del Rio to nick it and show behind all the bravado he is still very good.

The Miz vs Cena (The Rock) - I said it a few pages back, I can see it becoming a triple threat match with the Rock winning, before one of the others (probably Cena) beating him on Raw in a rematch.

The Corre vs Smackdown Face Team - for same reasons Excal stated

Lawler vs Cole - A match WWE can afford to end the way everyone expects it to. Don't think there's going to be a piledriver because it's still banned.

Mysterio vs Rhodes - This is Mysterio's hand-picked feud so I don't think there's any way they're going to let him lose the mask.

Celebrity team vs Ziggler and Laycool - Celebrities don't lose at Wrestlemania

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan - Probably going to be a fantastic opening match that will be close. If they end it as well as they did the last title match between these two, I think both competitors would benefit regardless of who wins.

Orton vs Punk

Edge vs Alberto Del Rio - Christian gets blamed somehow.

Undertaker vs HHH - Another long match but the result will be the same.

The Miz vs Cena - If it's a clean win. If it's dirty, Cena wins by DQ when Rock interferes. Miz keeps the title. Sets up the anticipated Cena/Rock match for Raw on Monday.

So when the hell is The Rock back then? I might tune in just to watch him...

Kofi Kingston has replaced Vladimir Kozlov in the eight man tag match. Corre attacked Kozlov at that Wrestlemania Axxess thing.

EXCLUSIVE: WM27 Announcing Duties Revealed

I still dont think The Rock will participate in the match, just go in and kick some ass in the middle of it. And perhaps Miz will just put his hand on Cena for the win.

I also wouldnt be surprised if HBK does something similar in the match between Undertaker and Triple H. Although perhaps it'll be a twist and he'll superkick Triple H, not wanting him to do what he couldnt.

He's been teasing it with the media. That said it'd be quite a story if he did that on the night after HHH inducted him into the Hall of Fame.
