Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

How's Goldberg expected to deliver a jackhammer, reverse into a tombstone attempt successfully after being tombstoned directly onto his head?

Anything Goldberg does after that tombstone is concussion affected. You can't say the same for Taker.

It was Jeddah heat more than that.

Wow

Just seen the clips from the Taker v Goldberg match....fecking disgusting.

WWE is pure garbage. The product is at one of its lowest points ever, how half of this stuff makes it to tv in 2019 is amazing.

Surprised taker or Goldberg aren’t seriously injured, it’s made me fecking angry watching 2 50 odd year old guys almost killing each other whilst trying to put a match together.

A new low for WWE, whoever booked that match needs firing.

Taker got dropped on his head during the Jackhammer attempt.

Neither should've been in a match together in any arena in 2019, let alone in 101F Saudi heat.

Goldberg was already bleeding for his entrance so I assume he headbutted the door like he used to (and admitted he got concussed doing in 2017 against Lesnar) so to do that, then smash the turnbuckle then get spiked in the Tombstone means he probably has no clue who or where he is right now.

Awful, awful stuff.

Who screwed up worse? Goldberg or Undertaker?

I’m generally angry the match took place. How one of them hasn’t got a broken neck I don’t know.

Hopefully they cash their check then knock Vince’s fecking head off. Shambles of a company.

Eh? The pair of them just got paid millions for that 7 minute match. A lot of what you said is correct, but I wouldn't put all the blame on Vince and WWE. They both could have said no, but they wanted that Saudi money despite knowing neither of them can wrestle still. Tbh, most of the blame lies on them. They both shouldn't be wrestling and they know it but neither will retire.

I agree but would place most of the blame on Undertaker. This isn't a sudden development for Taker. He has been a pathetic shadow of himself for a long time, shambling around looking like death warmed up after 3 minutes in the ring but he continues cashing the cheques. He deserves no sympathy.

Goldberg at least showed in his last run that he is capable of entertaining quick explosive matches with a good opponent.

I said it in the past but I’d say it again. Kane and Undertaker should stop using the tombstone they too sloppy now in the ring to do it. I don’t care if they done it 1000 times before. Undertaker is going to break somebodies neck.

Also I hope Finn Balor has fecked off from there. Promoting pride in Saudi Arabia on twitter will get his head chopped off. Run Finn.

And that Mansoor seems like a charming fella. Just seen a list of his and it ain’t a good list

He's anti-semetic
- He pressures talent into doing stuff for his stream whenever someone donates money to it, even if they aren't comfortable with it
- He actively promoted bigotry/intolerance during his twitch streams
- He tried to pry into his coworkers sex lives to solicit donations on said stream, including behind the backs of some of said co-workers

I do blame Vince, he knows the Taker is finished he’s been like this for years yet he keeps booking him. Don’t get me wrong I know they got paid but they shouldn’t even be given the opportunity, I hope for all their sakes they sat down after that match and said this is it......but I doubt it.

Use him for the odd promo, maybe a choke slam here and there to get a pop from the crowd but stop booking him in matches before someone gets seriously hurt.

Not much sympathy for taker. He wanted some of that sweet Saudi blood money.

Promoting Pride after he took the money, of course.

Sami, KO, Bryan, Aleister Black, their actions speak a little louder than Finn's hollow words.

If he didn't want to wrestle, if he didn't want that Saudi money, he'd say no. If the Saudis say to Vince, we wanna see undertaker, Vince has all right to ask him to perform. It's down to taker to look at himself and say, no, enough is enough.

Sami wasn't allowed though

Seems like SA blocked a bliss Vs nattie match too

It wasn't just Goldberg. I was thinking the Tombstone looked bad on first viewing and someone screenshot it...

Could've killed him. Piss off and retire Taker.
Oh Jesus. How has he screwed that up so badly. I didn’t bother watching it but isn’t goldbergs head supposed to be between his legs and tucked up? Could taker not hold the weight or something ?

Becky / edge twitter stuff is great
Cos edge actually gives it back properly

Black was banned rather than refusing to go because of his tattoos.

Mustafa Ali donated all his earnings to a clean water charity ... Which is the best thing to have done I reckon.

Sami & Black were blocked from going (Sami for being part Syrian and Black for his back tattoo which has religious meanings) and KO didn’t go because Sami isn’t allowed to.

I tried to watch bits of Raw/SD from the last few weeks. Holy crap, I got through 4 weeks worth within 20 minutes. Its so Shane dominated and so boring.

Brock with the boombox MITB and Bray is the only thing interesting. Everything else is so boring and was skipped. Even the Becky stuff, or Seth or Kofi stuff. I could forward it and not feel like ive missed anything.

Also saw Ibushi/Naito. WTF?

Stupid, stupid match.

And I love Ibushi... but yeah, I'm not a fan of this dropping on the head/neck stuff thats seemingly a thing in New Japan

Do you think we’ll ever see a female WWE Champion?

It’s not defined as a men’s title. And we’ve seen females compete in the Royal Rumble and compete for the Intercontinental title.

Personally I’d prefer to see Ronda Rousey as WWE Champion than Kofi Kingston

No because they don’t allow men get physical with women, Excluding the Nia Rumble thing.

I don't see it ever happening but if it would be anyone, I think it'd be Charlotte. I think she's the only woman who could come close to hanging with the men physically and athletically.

Nia and I’d think Lacey Evans can probably compete physically if Charlotte can. Skills in the ring then Charlotte no doubt but Nia wouldn’t need immense in ring ability when you’re as strong as she is.
Going by some of her lifting videos as well Mandy Rose is a weapon as there is one where she is deadlifting 140kg with chains on it for reps.

If anyone should be doing intergender stuff it would be Asuka. Woman hung with fecking Suzuki. On top she's not just about power, she could 'outwrestle' a lot of the guys.

Perhaps as a one-off. They can hang in some matches, but being portrayed as a credible opponent that can consistently better male talent? Not seeing it.

I only saw a clip of that and I'm sure Asuka got offence in during the rest of the match but the part I watched was just uncomfortable, to be honest.

Edit. Clip...

I feel in my memory this has been the worst time to be a WWE fan. The quality of the product is at its lowest. I don't even know who is feuding with who. The two bets thing going on is R-Truth and his 24/7 title and Bray Wyatt. Won't be long before Vince screws that also.

Yeah nah let's leave it men v men and women v women. I don't wanna watch Chris Brown's porn collection.

And the sad thing is it's probably got the best athletes it's ever had
And even some of the characters are great when you see how awesome they were on nxt

Just watched the short HHH documentary on the network. I think I want to be him when I grow up, the man is fascinating.

AEW : All Out sold out again in 15 mins with huge amounts of people trying to get tickets and unable to. Unprecedented interest. According to Meltzer his estimate was 137,600 tickets that could have been sold according to the traffic on the site. According to him the one show that would have beaten it is Anderson Silva's first time fighting in Rio, an MMA show when they could have sold 250k tickets but it was a 16k building.

72,500 were logged in trying to get tickets on noon Monday

Finally got around to watching AEW: DON...

Pretty good PPV, Some good stuff and some bad.

I wasn't that impressed with some of the tag matches, the lights out attack after the Angelico match was utterly shite!! The crowd completely hammered it with "who are you" chants. The 6 women tag match as well was very meh!

High points being the Rhodes match, Young Bucks match and the main event with Ambrose showing up.

Solid show, nothing overly spectacular I felt.
