Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

I dont know tbh, after WM i thought it was done and dusted because Roman lose clean but they still giving Roman chances after chances. With Brock never show up on weekly show, they dont have many angle to play for
While on SD they have destroyed the AJ Nakamura feud.

There was a moment during the Okada v Omega fight yesterday when both men collapsed and ref started a double count. I had horrible flashbacks to that WWE title match at Backlash.

With the WWE making big money on their recent TV deals, expect Vince to see this as affirmation that he is doing things right.

You can trust WWE to make a good wrestler become a rubbish performance. Nakamura now is too water down from what he is supposed to be.

I trust NJPW to make their actual wrestling macthes going right. That match was slow burner but got the pace half way down.

WWE doesnt have any competition whatsoever so people only get to watch theirs without any worry. Whatever they served us, we will still be watching. I think Vince knows this and doesnt care about quality anymore as long his cashflow still high.

True.

It's annoying to watch as a fan though.

The fact that the main event of WrestleMania had people chanting 'This is awful' sums it up for me. That's supposed to be your signature show. They then had the same match close the next special event.

Personally, i enjoyed Okada Omega IV. It has everything from wrestling sense, it just build up perfectly. But if you are casual fans it would be hard to get used to NJPW though, they have different approach.

I predicted last WM will gonna be borefest despite stacked card they had and Vince didnt dissapointed me.

No. That is not what I was talking about. I'm annoyed at the mess that is WWE right now. Can barely watch Raw and disapointed in SD. The Dominion match was quite good. But their Wrestle Kingdom match was better. Probably the best match I've ever seen. Although I wanted Kenny to win then. But the buildup to this feud has been class. have no complaints with NJPW.

As for Mania. It started off so well. Then just got worse by the hour.

WWE is too political. I know it always has been, but at least back then, you expected the bet to be rewarded and get to the top. Now it seems like popular / good stars are being watered down / held back until this Roman project succeeds. Its been a massive failure but Vince is being stubborn and is allowed to be as there isnt anything eating into WWE.

In terms of star ratings, some people take it a bit too seriously as its just one mans opinion. Despite what he may say, Meltzer does have a bias towards Japan. For me, I think CM Punk/Cena is one of the best matches ive ever seen (well since Hart/Austin at WM13 - thats the ultimate best match for me). Ive liked the Okada/Omega series but none of them imo have anything on Hart/Austin in terms of pure rollercoaster and entertainment.

Also WWE petty as fck. Brock beating Punks reign with about 100 less title defences / appearances.
And speaking of petty, which Mcmahon do you think will bring up Punk losing on Raw? Has to be Stephanie right?

Wonder will WWE mock Punk tonight? They did last time he lost his UFC fight.

Also Corey Graves went on a mad drunken rant about him after it.

According to Graves, Punk told him he had no interest in being friends with anybody working for WWE.

Graves sounded like a bitter drunk ex on twitter after the fight.

Turns out this didn't happen.

Just hope this whole saga is over.

Punk has retired and should stick to that and the WWE should focus on creating a better show with their resources.

Another dull Raw last night.

Just started watching last nights Raw and that fatal 4 way woman’s match was great. Bit of a meh finish but the match as a whole was great. Sasha really doesn’t care for the safety of her body at all, she’s like the rubber band woman.

Jeff vs Nakamura could be good too.

Also did Raw really have an obstacle course? Lmao. Glad I dont watch it live anymore and can condense it into 30 mins.

I’m working my way through and I’ve just hit the Ronda section and I’ve only watched the first match so far and the finish of the B-team. The rest has been fast forwarded. It really is the best way to watch it.

Edit; why the hell did they ring the bell at the end of that section.

Looking forward to MITB mostly for seth vs Elias in terms of single matches.
MITB of course to see who wins it and hopefully some good entertainment.
And well the outcomes and intrigue of the 2 womens matches (as I can see both titles being retained).
Bryan hopefully beats Cass but is jumped by Miz leading to Summerslam. Hopefully. Maybe? I dunno.

Takeover Chicago
Undisputer Era(c) vs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch
Aleister Black(c) vs Lars Sullivan
Johnny Gargano vs Tomasso Ciampa
Ricochet
vs Velveteen Dream
Shayna Baszler(c) vs Nikki Cross

Money In The Bank
Women's Money In The Bank: Charlotte
Men's Money In The Bank: Miz
AJ Styles(c)
vs Nakamura
Nia Jax(c) vs Rhonda Rousey Screwy finish, Nia retains
Camella(c) vs Asuka
Roman Reigns
vs Jinder Mahal
Bludgeon Brothers(c) vs Gallows and Anderson
Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn
Seth Rollins(c) vs Elias
Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass

Lot of trash on that MitB card.

Bryan vs Cass
Lashley vs Zayn
BB vs G&A
Reigns vs Jinder

The MitBs and AJ/Nakamura are all that is worth watching. Elias is very entertaining on the mic but is terribly boring in the ring but Rollins has been on fire lately and could drag a good match out of anyone right now.

Got a feeling James Ellsworth will help Carmella win somehow.
I'd go with the predictions above though apart from maybe Big Cass beating Daniel Bryan, as I think if they're going to push him he needs a big win.

Is it possible to share the network with someone? Like 2 or 3 of you use the same account? Everyone chips in and can watch at the same time in different locations?

Honestly, I don't know if I can continue to take this rivalry anymore. The way Ciampa and Gargano work makes me feel like there's some legit heat between them. It's also quite emotionally draining. I enjoy it a whole lot, but man...it does drain a whole lot out of you.

That has to be up there with one of the best takeovers they've ever done, right on the back of the last one which was one of the best ever Takeovers. It's astonishing how NXT can be so consistent yet with the main roster I'm at the point where I'm not watching any of it because it has gotten so bad.

It was uncomfortable to watch at times but that's the nature of their rivalry. It's been amazing but I too don't think I can take another match even though it looks set to continue. I just don't see how they could top that in terms of violence, nor do I want to see them try.

Loved Joe’s mic work, really is one of the best in the business, would love it if he won the briefcase even though he could legitimately win the title

I think the Gargano/Ciampa rivalry should be put on hold, if only temporarily. Have Regal say that they won't be put in matches against each other anymore, because he doesn't want an actual murder to happen on his show. (Is it still Regal, I honestly only watch Takeovers now).

You can always have them end up in the same match months from now, due to winning number one contender things or something. But the third match shouldn't happen right away, imo (although I think they'll both take time off to sell this match anyway).

I don't think they'll lose momentum doing that, because it's such a well built feud that they can go back to it at any time, and it'll mean something.

In completely unrelated news, I feel like the Bludgeon Brothers theme needs lyrics. Get an Ozzy soundalike over it, and it'll be great.

I also like every competitor in the men's MITB match.
