Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Kinda feel like MITB works better when it’s a heel who has it. Although with the whole Brock basically holding the title hostage it might work for a cheap cash in with a face.

Either hopefully Braun wins and just straight up in some bad ass way says he wants a straight up fight no cheap Cash in.

Or someone like Rollins or Balor cashes it in making it a triple threat and pin the other person ala a Rollins.

Because I honestly don’t think I can sit through or watch another Roman is king jizz fest with him winning it. Last night there was a moment where if Balor went up for his finisher and if he’d landed that and pinned Roman it just felt like the crowd would have gone ape and you instantly sky rocket Balor. Heck even Sami would have gotten a huge reaction but no. Roman can’t take the loss.

At least looks like he’ll be sidelined with Jinder for a bit.

Yeah I see where you're coming from.

Brawn is quite the anti hero / baby face rolled into one. He basically doesn't always pander to the crowd and goes on his own path of destruction without really reporting to any sort of rules. He's pretty much what Reigns was meant to be

If I were the writer I'd have Brawn win MITB and then wait until a major PPV (Say Brock vs Reigns/Lashley/Balor/whoever).. and have him announce his addition in the build up, rather than cashing in during any match. A bit like how Cena did it, except Cena did it in the interest of fairness whereas Brawn would be doing it because he's so fecking confident of beating any number of people that he doesn't give 2 shits about element of surprise.

I agree re. Roman. However the louder the crowd boo the more he'll be the main man. An indifferent, quiet meh reaction is the only thing that buries wrestlers from the top of the pack. Right now Roman gets one of the loudest reactions, even if it is the wrong way.

That is probably the way I’d book Braun as well. It’s so weird to think that at Elimination chamber he was a wrecking machine and pretty much beat everyone then Roman happens. He needs to get back to that sort of push level.

You’re also right, he is everything that they want Roman to be.

Fecking loved the bit when Sami and Balor were stomping him down and the crowd had the yes chant going. I actually think Roman is semi decent at Promos, and he’s pretty good in the ring except for those over played spears and superman punches, but foook his booking is just horrendous. What we need is a reaction like the front row of the greatest royal rumble. Just not giving an F.

Honestly makes my blood boil. Thank god for guys like Rollins, Balor,Kevin Owens and Sami. Rollins has always been really good, however now he’s like AJ good.

Romans recent matches have been him getting the crap beaten out of him, then either him hitting a few superman punches and a spear (and either winning or not).
Miss his stuff from 2016(?).

I seriously cant tell if they are sabotaging Reigns on purpose or not.

Rumour that they are trying the Daniel Bryan booking with him where the office are 'screwing him over'. If that is the case then they still don't understand why Bryan got over the way he did.

Of course they dont. They didnt want him to get over. Yet it kept happening. So im pretty sure they took credit for it.
But the lack of stars theyve created says it all.

You know what would be a good angle. Roman wins MITB, but somehow Rollins, Balor or anyone who is a smaller face than Braun, beat Brock in some sort of crazy underdog story Then seconds after their hand is raised Roman decks them with the briefcase cashes it in and pins them.

It would probably work best with Balor just to add to his other really short title reign that he never lost. Anyway it launches both. One your top heel and one a top face.

Never happen but to me that would make more sense and more compelling story telling.

The slow build for this match is great.

Have Miz win the MITB..and have Bryan win the WWE title at some point and Miz to cash in. This is a potential goldmine.

Miz will cash in on AJ and they'll drag out the Bryan match until Mania next year.

Is Backlash worth watching?
All I know is that fan's walked out during Roman vs Joe, so I've avoided all spoilers

Miz has improved immensely, for sure the best heel in the business right now. On one hand the suggested idea that miz wins the MITB and cashes in on bryan sounds awesome but then their feud doesnt need it. I would prefer someone like Rusev or Roode (turn him heel ffs) winning it. Anyways love the MITb and it is crazy to think how wwe wasted it last year on Corbin. Never waste your Money in the bank winner and keep him away from cena as much as possible.

hmmm

They need Rollins to beat Brock for the main title at Summerslam.
And for Reigns to cash the MITB he wins straight away.

Touché  although I think Balor makes the better story due to only holding the title for 24hrs previously.

Although Roman turning on Seth for a change would be pretty intresting due to their history. What do we really think the chances of any of this happening tho :lol:

If Rusev was put over Daniel Bryan it should be Rusev getting the briefcase for me.

To be fair I’m sort of disappointed that they had Bryans first loss on tv and in that fashion. But then again they did him a favour as it’s too soon for him and ladder matches. It’s great that he is back but he still needs to take it easy. Even though Cass isn’t the best person to work with.

They should never have announced these Miz vs Bryan matches for Europe. They need to keep them apart for as long as possible.

You can currently get 18/1 on Reigns winning the MITB ... obviously as things stand, he’ll not be in the match, but I could see the opportunity for the final spot will be a ‘2nd chance’ match of some sorts.

Why does Roman need money in the bank when he has Vince in his pocket? He'll be fighting for the title when the rest are fighting for an opportunity.

I just think it’d be very WWE to have Roman ‘earn’ one last shot at the title by winning MITB. Then having him do a Cena and say he wants to beat Brock fairly at summerslam and cash in then.

Would be shit. But would be very WWE.

All In
Selling out in 30mins is quite cool (10k seats as well)

Always was going to sell out. It's an Indy supershow that advertised it's aim to try and sell out a 10k arena. There's plenty of fans who will leap at the chance to support this. Just a shame those fans are going to get screwed over by the scalpers who picked up a ton of the tickets.

Rollins has basically had awesome match after awesome match recently. Obviously you need the partner but he is on fire.

Any one else totally invested in the B-team now  I’m all in...

Seth really should be 'the guy'. They need to make the show about him and result in him taking the title off Brock.

She's not part time.

She is by the standard the fans would judge her against.

Showing attendance doesn't mean you're going to be seen as a dedicated part of the roster.

She has just been turning up and giving cameo moments outside of her match at Wrestlemania. You'd expect some form of singles competition since and be an active member of the roster.

Not wrestled a match since WM, not been at every raw, what would you call it if it is not part time?

She’s been at most raws.

You don’t sign someone like Rousey to wrestler on Raw every week. I’m sure she’d want to, but they see her as a PPV attraction. So it makes sense for her to wrestler only on PPVs.
