Great match, just a bit of a poorly executed finish as Miz allowed for too long a pause before being hit by the Curb Stop. Still a very strong opener though.

Great match between aj/shinsuke but awful and I mean awful booking. Ridiculous
What else would you expect? They could have found another way to end that match without leaving it a petty no-contest.
And look how dead the crowd have become after that. And to make matters worse here we ha e the least over guy roman closing the show just to get back momentum. When will this Project Roman end.
I thought that Backlash had some potential, but to have a non-title match end Backlash is just disappointing. I just hope that Joe can make it tolerable.

Man, even with Joe, this match has been poorly paced. I can't tell if it's the people booking Roman's matches or Roman himself who struggles to work in a match.
I would say it's the booking. Heck the overall booking of wwe is becoming ridiculous.

Also someone must know or has noticed this guy before, there is a dude in the front row who is pretty much at every show in the same seating area. He wears a luminous green top with luminous pink arms every time he is there. Has funky hair as well.

Just seen videos of fans walking out midway through the main event match, Vince is gonna hate that. People heading for the gates whilst Joe puts Reigns in sleepers and headlocks for 20 minutes.

Unfortunately people must start doing that more for Vince to change his ideas. Problem is not roman, it is the general booking. Chanting cm punk or this is boring will not make much difference as wwe feeds on the reaction. People need to start leaving early for Vince to panic and change.

It's sad that wwe , even though have top performers, lack a credible heels. For ex. Yesterday none of the heels went over (bar carmella). Joe is giving killer promos after promo only to lose, nakamura cannot beat aj, Owen's and zayn are booked like losers, here we have 7 feet cass not beating a so called midget. I know people like road dogg will make stupid statements like wins/loses do not matter but seriously they must start having their heels win some matches clean.

I can maybe sort of forgive this show for being rubbish as there has been a lot of big shows in the last month and they couldn’t spend time nurturing new storylines. Even tho normally they do a rubbish job of that anyway.
I mean who are the heels on Raw now. Jinder, Owens, Sammi, Elias, McIntyre, Ziggler. None of them are currently in a position where you think yeah. He’s the guy. I’m predicting Owens and Sammi will probably have something happen between them soon so they are occupied. Also guessing Rollins and Balor will roll on. Feck knows what is going on with Braun and Lashley but might make a tag team run. So what on Earth is Roman doing other than waiting for Brock again.
I actually wouldn’t mind Roman working a programme with McIntyre and Ziggler actually.

Watching an Orton match is like watching grass grow.

They could have escalated him into a tactical face who systematically beats the odds with his mind rather than brute "you want some come get some" mentality.
They were going somewhere when he pretended to be a Wyatt before turning on them and dismantling them from the inside. But then they decided to go 10 steps back, feed him to Jinder and make him a replacement for Kane in the form of a big name jobber.
Thing is he probably doesn't care either. He's apparently not much dedicated anymore.
What was that show? So much either didn't make sense or was completely pointless. One of the worst booked shows in a long time, and that's saying something. Thank god for Miz and Rollins.
One of the worst PPVs ever. People leaving early when the main event was on surely should be enough to show Vince that the fans don't accept Reigns. He will undoubtedly put it down to Samoa Joe though. Reigns needs to turn heel. And why the feck was that dead rubber the main event anyway?

just watched backlash, it started with a fantastic match and went steadily downhill from there. very poor ppv.
No matter if he is face or heel he still has that arrogant smirk on his face, his matches are the drizzling shits and he barely outs any effort in.
They need Rollins to beat Brock for the main title at Summerslam.

I think we should have an established top guy win MITB though. If its an upper B card every year then we know its just a show to give someone smaller time a push which gets predicable.
Kinda feel like MITB works better when it’s a heel who has it. Although with the whole Brock basically holding the title hostage it might work for a cheap cash in with a face.
Either hopefully Braun wins and just straight up in some bad ass way says he wants a straight up fight no cheap Cash in.
Or someone like Rollins or Balor cashes it in making it a triple threat and pin the other person ala a Rollins.
Because I honestly don’t think I can sit through or watch another Roman is king jizz fest with him winning it. Last night there was a moment where if Balor went up for his finisher and if he’d landed that and pinned Roman it just felt like the crowd would have gone ape and you instantly sky rocket Balor. Heck even Sami would have gotten a huge reaction but no. Roman can’t take the loss.
At least looks like he’ll be sidelined with Jinder for a bit.
