Still no Taker. I wonder if maybe they were just holding out to see if he could get himself fit enough to compete and he hasn’t made it or like @Havak is suggesting which sounds quite plossible. “The Undertaker” is retired but the American bad ass ain’t. He just shows up and calls out Cena on the spot. Guess we’ll know by Cenas attire.

As for Zayn, KO vs Bryan and Shane, surely could go either way and with the draft it’s likely if they do lose KO and Zayn Just end up on Raw.

Still the match I’m most looking forward to is Balor, Rollins and the Miz. Although when Brock and Roman did square off there was a touch of excitement and anticipation but it’ll probably be a disappointment as Brock can’t be arsed half the time.

Alexa retaining would be in as much bad taste as HHH beating Booker T. Can't do the storyline they have done and not have Jax win.

I'll take a returning Joe for the men's Battle Royal and Bayley for the women's to trigger a Banks heel turn, really kick-starting their feud.
It kinda would, but I think Alexa retaining is so much more likely than most of the other champions headed into this event. Of course, every title could change hands, but it seems unrealistic that would happen. There will be one or two champions who retain this Sunday. I cannot see Lesnar retaining, Reigns winning here has been the plan for so long and Vince is too stubborn. I'd wager this has been the plan since before Lesnar ended the streak originally, that's how much 'in the making' it is, so that match is 100% set. It'd be an anti-climax if Asuka's undefeated run ends in her first title opportunity so that one is pretty much guaranteed. AJ vs. Shinsuke is at least a little more up in the air, but Nakamura failing at the main hurdle again? I doubt it. I would love a Miz retain, but odds are he will have to leave for a while very soon, so it'd make sense to pass the belt over to Bálor or Rollins (I'm thinking Bálor right now). Strowman not winning the Tag Titles now would be a complete waste, especially as I suspect Sheamus and Cesaro will be swapping brands with the Uso's come the shake-up - so Bludgeon Brothers will be given their title push. Uso's and Bar will undoubtedly win the other brand's tag titles in time unless the latter split before overcoming Harper & Rowan. Either way, I can't see either team coming out of WrestleMania as champion.

Orton keeping the US Title is absolutely the most likely of all title bouts, but you can make a case for everyone in that match winning.

I will enjoy the event, however, as I think the card is very good. It's just lacked the build-up of past big PPVs and barring some u-turns I think it is a very predictable card. It has the predictability of Elmination Chamber and FastLane which felt very much like stop-gaps on this journey. A journey of even more predictability (watch me eat my words Monday morning).

1. Orton
2. Alexa
3. AJ Styles
4. Uso's
5. The Bar
6. The Miz
7. Charlotte
8. Lesnar

An AJ win over Nakamura after a 25 minute (at least) match and a Daniel Bryan heel turn and I'm happy. Not expecting either, especially the latter.

People just like to complain.

I'm very much looking forward to the whole weekend.

Big show? Bleh lol. Need a little / big duo that will allow Braun to show off his comedic value and timing whilst still being a beast in the ring.

Also Glad people are looking forward to WM / Weekend :)
Hope they balance it out and it doesnt drag too much but we know it will lol.

I can see Miz retaining the IC title. Then dropping it on Raw (and taking time off to spend with family).

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Cena/Taker? I’ve seen 2 theories..

1 - As mentioned above, Cena calls him out one more time, Kid Rock brings out biker taker, they have the match.

2 - There is no match. Taker comes out and they have a segment, which carries on into Monday night, building up to a match at WM35.

I think for them to tease the match and not deliver would be awful. But on the other hand, having the match unannounced going into mania and then happening would also be awful.

Until today, I’ve been convinced it would happen, but now, I really don’t know. I can see them going for the year long build.

It's perhaps a bit strange but I really don't care if Cena/Taker happens this year or next year or never. I'd like to see Taker come out on his bike again but that aside I just can't muster any enthusiasm for it.

2 is the worse.

1. is only worthwhile if

Kid Rock gets Last Rided...Last Rode...Last Ridden...powerbombed off the stage

Yeah, but Vince kept it fresh or at least interesting. All Steph has is a bitch slap up her sleeve. She's terribly underwhelming.
It's honestly been tedious for over a decade. The lack of competition has been the death knell for creativity and originality in the WWE. Let's hope new Japan's us expansion is a success and lights a fire under their ass

Oh imagine if there's a year long build for that match. Ewww.

Taker shouldve set off into the sunset maybe 5 years ago. Don't let it go on another year.

Honestly Cena/Taker is already cemented in my head as gonna happen the way I originally thought it would and if it doesn't I'll be damn disappointed.

Throughout the night the commentators remind us that Cena is there as a fan and they constantly cut to him moving between the different fans and interacting with them however he/they want to. He goes to the kids that love him and makes their day by hanging with them, taking photos, etc. He goes to the blokes that despise him and has some banter with them (like that famous photo of him stood next to the guy with the 'we hate Cena' or whatever on his shirt). The commentators and Cena himself reminds the world watching that he's on Facebook live, Instagram, Snapchat, Network, whatever all night and they do little segments here and there.

Nothing is even hinted that Taker is there at all.

We get through match after match and because there's about eleventy million hours worth of matches we're just waiting for a bit of light relief that Cena'll give inbetween as he's mixing it with fans.

They get to the HOF segment and that takes a bit and then Kid Rock suddenly picks up a guitar or a mic or whatever and the rest of his band comes out too and....they don't play American Bad Ass at all, just play a medley of some of his songs (not a fan apart from ABA and Bawitdaba but c'est la vie). Then after some sort of guitar riff medley he breaks into American Bad Ass but still there's no sign of Taker. I know there's a few lines that lead to a pause.

'If I come off soft, then chew on this
Are you scared?'....

Kid Rock smiles at the camera....those creepy kids say 'he's here' or even do the full little segment similar to Judgement Day in 2000 when he debuted ABA, the bike engine revs, out comes ABA Taker who stops on the ramp on his bike, it cuts to Cena who flat out loses his shit along with the rest of the crowd. Taker comes down to the ring, gets off the bike and then effectively it's 'just bring it' time and we go straight into the match.

I like Reigns but I don't think he's over.

What are the UK times for Takeover and WM this weekend guys?

Takeover pre show is midnight on Saturday night, with the show at 01:00.

WrestleMania pre show 22:00 Sunday with the show at 00:00... Until 05:00!

Is Reigns over or does everyone just hate Brock?

I don’t hate Roman, I think he’s built this feud really well. But I think he’s still far from over. I think his main issue now, rather than his actual personality/ability/charisma is that it’s the ‘done thing’ To hate Roman Reigns, people see that people on twitter and YouTube hate him, so they hate him.

I’m so bored of Brock though, that I’d take Mojo Rawley winning it off him at this point.

Also, the samurai ponytail is back! Along with his 2012 look with the short hair and stubble, is my favourite Bryan look.

@sewey89 nailed it really.

The crowd has made up it's mind, they don't like Reigns so nothing he does even if it's amazing will ever satisfy them.

Personally I can't stand his move set, I think the Superman Punch (especially whilst hearing Michael Cole screech it) is both a terribly weak finisher and way, way overplayed and after watching peak Goldberg just absolutely maul people at high speed, his spear is abysmally poor too. Everything else about him is just exceptionally bland and simplly serves to highlight how bland WWE is nowadays. Calling him 'The Big Dog' is an insult to all the wrestlers that are and were bigger than him (he's really not that big and also wears bloody vest protection too), honestly I know all the 80/90/00's wrestlers were juicing but they were huge compared to Reigns and calling him that when Braun Strowman is on the current roster is just laughable in the extreme.

He worked as part of The Shield and still does and they're a great team but as a singles guy, he's nothing, absolutely nothing. It baffles me to this way why Vince is so convinced by him. He's just steady, which is fine for a midcard performer, but not as 'the guy'.

I half think people are into the feud with Brock because it's finally over with. This has been in the making basically since the last one which seems like years ago now. Once it's done we can focus on literally anything else and move on as wrestling fans. Reigns promo work for this has actually been really good and you can see the improvement in him but still, just get it done and that'll be that.

Brock is returning to UFC

His last year has been rather lacklustre to be honest and I won't miss him. Reigns is guaranteed the win now surely.

He's appeared more than his last title run. He was built as an unstiopunst beast and Goldberg kind of ruined that, but he's still pretty much unstoppable. Obviously it's all to make Roman look like he's beat the odds and all that. I low key like the run he's had but I'm looking forward to the title finally being on weekly.

Is Reigns over or does everyone just hate Brock?

Think it's more about the title finally being on Raw on a weekly basis. It's supposedly meant to be the tip title but you struggle to care for it. Brock dropping allows the natural order of things. That's my opinion at least.

Turn Reigns full heel with Heyman at his side, could be interesting.

They need to get that belt off Broc regardless who wins it, so many wrestlers suffering because there’s no programme for them, the title belt will get the likes of Finn, Rollins, Joe etc a main event spot.

Vince is a stubborn old git. Remember back ‘94 or ‘95 when he tried to make Diesel the next Hogan? He overlooked awesome wrestlers like Brett Hart, Mr Perfect and even the British Bulldog in his pursuit to get Diesel over.

Lesnar Vs Reigns needs to go on mid card. Otherwise It will be the first time that a face gets booed out of the building in a Wrestlemania main event. The crowd will be rabid.
