Holy cow, I don't care that much about WWE anymore but that's really upsetting news. I haven't read the full details but maybe she could make a comeback like HBK/Bryan in a few years?

Actually, I just read this on a wrestling forum:
"Also for the people yelling at Sasha over this, Paige did say on Lilian Garcia's podcast that the doctor she went to for her neck surgery did say DO NOT WRESTLE AGAIN, but Paige ignored the doctor's advice. So it was a ticking timebomb either way."

Looks like she was fortunate to return in the first place.

Would of been interesting to see where absolution was heading, but regardless of that she still had many years left at the top.
 
I'm guessing she'll still have a role on tv if she wants it. Still must be awful to go through the year she had, make it back and then for this to happen.

She already had a fecked up neck/back and wasnt expecting the kick. You would have to ask wrestlers, but I would assume that a veteran would not do what Banks did.

Agreed. It was reckless and a fecking stupid thing for Banks to do. Let’s just kick her hard in the back causing a whiplash like reaction on soneone that’s just returned from neck/back surgery.
 
Damn, I love Paige and was hoping they'd end up going with her and Asuka at WrestleMania. Really don't like the idea of the Rousey angle, I'd hate Asuka's huge push and hype to fall flat because they want a big MMA star to take the limelight.

The only thing I can think of is quickly bringing back Emma as, alongside Paige, she kind of kickstarted the whole divas being taken seriously in WWE in their NXT days.
 
They have one shot to redeem Bayley. At the Rumble, have Stephanie enter like she's a big deal only for Bayley to toss her straight back over the ropes in two seconds like she's nothing.

It would blow the roof off the place.

Loved Kaitlyn. She could more of a believable monster than someone like Nia or Tamina.

After seeing her recently though, she's about 90% plastic now.
 
Paige has been told she will never wrestle again. Serious neck injury. Looking like forced retirement.

Well it’s from PW Insider and normally they are about 95% wrong, so hopefully this isn’t the one time they get something right.

If it is true then that sucks. Imagine since Sasha kinda has a bit of a weird relationship with the fans and even backstage due to her being a c&*t she’ll probably get a big backlash but it’s the nature of their buisness and it happens.

You see that video tho and that does not look good, that’s proper nerve damage like Something is been pinched.

I reckon that Trish and Lita are almost certainly going to appear. There’s no way that either of them will want to miss such a historic match.

It’s sad about Paige. 25 is no age to have to retire.

I thought Lita was forced in to retirement also because of neck injuries.she broke her neck at one point.

I mean, I'm not denying you have a mate in the company, but this isn't storyline shes legit fecked her neck. As much as there's reports saying doctors told her not to wrestle again, if she was unable to wrestle she wouldn't have been allowed to wrestle (at least in WWE). Coming back just to promote a film doesn't fly with me, it's completely against the safety first image the WWE have been trying to portray for about a decade and a half now.

I might be totally wrong but I’m sure that was why she stopped wrestling. I’d love nothing more than to see her comeback tho and if she can wrestle I would think the Rumble would be a great place for it.

@Garethw checked on the Lita situation and supposedly she left WWE December 2016 I guess as she was in the development centre. However I’ve just seen a video of her in March 2017 wrestling or at least delivering two twists of fate. So maybe she can wrestle. Would be amazing if she and Trish are some of the entrants.

Guess it depends on if she is cleared by WWE to wrestle. Fingers crossed, with this new 3 man factions everywhere thing going on a golden girls of Trish,Lita and Micki would be intresting.

No retirement speech from Paige, Just an announcer mentioning she is out of the Rumble due to a neck injury. They might just be giving it more time before a decision is taken.

I was told when she was first brought back that she was a ticking timebomb. She has had issues with spasms for a while now and was shocked they had her wrestling so many matches upon her return.
