I’m pretty sure he just meant that it seems like WWE didn’t allow them going over the top rope because most female RR’s have been middle rope jobs. Hopefully it’s over the top and we see some decent stuff.
Would be intresting if say Bliss was in it as she is barely taller than the 3rd rope.
All of a sudden the woman’s division is the most intresting thing about WWE.
However does seem ridiculous that the Smackdown call up is visually sort of like an identical copy to Raw’s Call up.
I’m guessing Nikki Bella or long shot Brie would make apeerances at the rumble or maybe some more NXT call ups or maybe some old faces like McCoul or Kelly Kelly. What even is Maria up to on Smackdown? An old school ladies faction would be cool.
I think the fact that Roman got ill and missed TLC is what killed it. We were just about to get the long awaited Shield reunion and then it hit the brakes straight away and instead we got Angle and Triple H guest starring as Shield members. Killed all momentum and when Roman did return the novelty had worn off. Also killed any hype for a proper Kurt Angle return.
That would be a completely different issue, and hopefully I misunderstood him.

I understood it like this as well. I mean it probably takes a good amount of jumping/playing along from the opponent if for example Bliss was to eliminate somebody over the top rope. It could look really awkward. And this is not down to the wrestling level of the women, but simply due to their height.
Just have the women compete in a series of Gladiators style fights with giant sticks on podiums, last woman standing wins. Solves the ropes issue, AND brings Gladiators into pro wrestling, which is really what I think the industry needs.
In fact, scrap the men's Rumble too, and just have them all compete in a Ninja Warrior style assault course. It probably means that Kofi is going to main event Wrestlemania, but it'll be fun.

1:10 FFSIm pretty sure they did over the top rope in the NXT womens battle royale. And tbh, it would have most of the same women (well not most). 15-20 women Rumble for women would be quite cool though.

I think a female Royal Rumble would be good, it'd probably only take up half an hour with 20 entrants at 1 minute intervals. It'd be more like a kick off event, but on the actual card rather than the kick off show. There are enough females on the roster and they're very much developing a mid- and top-level card of talent. It seems most likely that Asuka and Paige would be in the picture for the Raw Women's Title come Wrestlemania, though I'm not sure what would happen on SmackDown just yet, unless it is Rousey to challenge Charlotte.
A women's royal rumble probably won't be that good because royal rumbles generally aren't that good. The novelty is in the surprise entrants and seeing who us going to win.
This year is likely to be a Roman Reigns formality, so it won't even have that.
I don't know. I mean Roman is main eventing mania for the title but I can see them having a smackdown guy win because that match "needs it more".

First thing I'd do if I booked WWE is plan to allow champions to appear on both main shows and diversify the titles a bit. I think it would remedy many of the flaws of the brand extension, which is a kind of necessary evil when you have the amount of TV that WWE does.

Got to say the writing once again by the WWE just pathetic. Two factions on two shows, made up of similar looking people both dropping the faction names 1 night apart. Can someone not just rid us of whomever is in charge of that part of things.
Haven't seen the match but yeah Riot is probably the most accomplished along with Logan in fact, might have been nerves on her part. Morgan is still very green despite being in NXT a good while, same with Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose barely made it onto tv. Makes it even stranger the likes of Royce or Billie Kay were not brought up considering they are miles ahead of the latter three. They could have even signed up a few of the women from the mae young classic like Toni Storm, Jazzy Gabert or Mia Yim and fast tracked one of them to offset the others inexperience.

I like him. Great in the ring, and he's held his own on the mic. His voice does have a natural sort of "whine" to it, which can only help the brat character that you suggest (and I'm sure they'll utilise).
The sneak attack on Roman was hilarious though. Like "excuse me, just need you to turn around...just wrap my arms around you there..position the legs.....AHA SUPLEX...he never saw it coming"

Jason Jordan is great in the ring but his whole get up is still like a default wrestler on a ps4 game. He needs more of a gimmick to sell off and a heck of a lot more charisma.
He also needs wins against upper B grade wrestlers. Give him a clean victory over Bray, make him fued with Miz and get over. Having match ups against big A list wrestlers and ultimately coming short every single time won't get him far in character credibility.

Can’t say I’ve been a huge fan but always thought he was decent but yesterday was the first time where I was like hold up this kid is awesome. That was a great match and I agree he should turn heel. I think it would be more intresting if Kurt stayed baby face as Jason went on a tear. Certainly needs to change his look a bit and Just his demeanour as he walks in.
Raw last night especially the first hour I thought was great. Forgot how good of a performer Paige is. There are more talented technicians but she properly performs. Interested to know what is going on with them and Asuka but maybe more so when Nia Jax inevitably gets involved.
