AJ vs Sunil and Samir.

You'd think Teddy Long is GM ffs.

I really enjoyed what Paige and her new clan did on RAW, thought it was something really new and fresh to see a badass female faction beating other females down, faces, heels, whoever....

Which makes the fact they did a copy and paste job (complete with goth, blonde and brunette) on Smackdown even more ridiculous!

neither has anybody who has watched NXT consistently
Same with bereneto. I remember when she teamed with Royce and Kay last year. Wonder how they feel about that.

Bout time for Liv Morgan though.

PWInsider are reporting that the WWE for once has actually listened to fans and is actually doing something good.

The Big 4, will become a Big 5 with MOITB (rightly) becoming a dual brand event. Hopefully rather than two mens matches and two womens matches, they do one of each with starts of both brands, and the winner can cash out on either brand.

It would be better if Paige is in control of the whole thing and wants to take over both Raw and SD (both clans under her control or something)

I must be the only one who can’t stand Paige.

She’s average in the ring and her promos are just awful.

Her promos are usually awful but she's really good in the ring IMO. Am I the only one who thinks these new nxt girls look like blow up dolls?

Wouldn't agree on promos. Paige showed more natural charisma and mic talent in two lines ("Did you miss me?" and "I'm baaaack") than Bayley and Sasha ever have.

Bayley has permanent stage fright and I'm pretty sure Sasha has a speech impediment.

Paige is blah in mic, being better than Bayley in mic is not a big fit, and Sasha as face is terrible, she is a natural heel who is forced to play a face. Although none are a patch in mic when it comes to Miss Bliss
Paige does have charisma because of her unique look(no longer unique btw, with Cross and Ruby out there).
But she is good in ring.

Sasha doesnt come off as a natural good guy person especially with her persona.
Bayley is bleh unless its pure emotion. At times you can tell she looks like shes trying to remember what somebody else told her to say rather than what she would probably say given her character.

I dont mind Paige. At times she can be a bit too much but most of the time I dont mind her doing a promo.
For me, Fox is the worst. Even in the ring, I dont rate her. She seems to give one nice move though.

anybody else find this Shield re-union absolutely uninspiring, bland and basically not much interesting?
There's no-one for them to feud with. Miz was paired with two jobbers, so there's no interest there. It doesn't seem the WWE has any interest in doing Bullet Club stables, so Balor, Gallows and Anderson are all floating without direction. Their 6-man against the New Day was great, but they are the only other 6-man stable of interest and are on Smackdown.

Thats why Miz getting involved with Sheamus/Cesaro was good. Biggest shame was Romans injury / illness before TLC.

It's not that WWE, or even Raw, doesn't have the talent, but the main rosters are booked so poorly and lose so many potential stars their heat. Look at Matt Hardy now just being a lower card guy, or Nakamura or Roode on Smackdown. There have been some of the most over guys in the world in the last 12 months and now no-one cares because of them being booked in a way that nobody should care.

Wwe sucks majorly now. The booking is truly horrendous.

I kind of expected Matt Hardy to get wasted but he's a proper jobber now. Not giving him a gimmick and no Jeff exposes the fact he's in his 40s and a bit of a ropey wrestler, he desperately needs something and I'm sure he has ideas other than the broken schtick which is obviously still in legal limbo and very hit and miss anyway.

The problem is every sane fan could see through that it was done to get Roman get over. The guy is the most pushed wrestler ever. Hell he is making cena a normal guy.

Roman has all the talents but Vince and wwe have screwed everyone including him by pushing him like crazy where he rarely gets over. Most likely he will win the rumble now and face brock once again. Not looking good , fans will again be bored but then Vince won't care.

Cant work out this Bryan/Shane angle. Deffo going to have a falling out obviously, probably something for the rumble but cant work out whos turning heel. You'd think Bryan, but shanes been a bit of a cnut this past month or so.
Bryan turning heel.would be stupid. He is one.of the most over guy in WWF/E history .Shane has become boring. A 47 year old fighting like an unstable child. He should turn heel.

I mentioned this in here months and months back around Wrestlemania. It's the Hardy's in 2017 and once the nostalgia wears off there's no real desire to see either wrestle standard paint by number matches.

Without the gimmick that's exactly what Matt is right now. Just another guy. He'll get decent reactions because of nostalgia but that's it right now. Some people didn't like the broken gimmick, some thought it was terrible, some thought it was brilliant, some thought it was barking mad...it had your attention though and made you want to watch what he was going to do next. There's no excuse to be had around 7 months after his return. The company should have had a plan for him if they couldn't use the broken gimmick, use something similar but change it up. Instead just like a lot of the people on the roster now the writers have no idea what to do and he's just another guy completely lost in the shuffle. What was one of the hottest acts in wrestling is now just another bland, missable act.

Unless they turn him heel thinking he will leave after his contract

Its all this 50/50 booking with new stars. Its nuts. Nakamura debuts and then faces Ziggler who has been jobbing. And all of a sudden Ziggler dominates him for 80% of the match and Ziggler wins.
like Asuka, debuts against Emma who couldnt win a match, and Asuka just about survives.
Or Roode wins his debut against Ziggler and then loses the next match to him so they can have a 2 out of 3 fall match where Ziggler wins the first one rofl.

But thats exactly why it be great if he turned heel.

Over wrestlers turn heel eventually. Almost always temporary, but they do turn.

They won't have to gain much by turning Bryan. Unless of course he is forming a stable featuring ROH type guys. No point other than that. Shane is becoming boring and irritating. Turn him heel.

Can see him aligning with Zayn and Owens. Hell put in Adam Cole and it could be fun.

bet you won't
I actually will. I have far bigger interest in football and UFC so my sports fill is always in check. I re-started watching WWE around Hell in a Cell 2016 because of new baby so had lots of time looking after her whilst the wife slept.

I was quite enjoying it until Jinder fecking Mahal became champion and went on to make Nakamura look like a scrub as well as the god awful Orton/Wyatt feud. Since then I only read the Raw and SD results on Bleacher Report and watch the PPVs because they're free.

If Roman does what I expect them to make him do then I'll just check out completely.

I don’t know why everyone is arsey about Roman vs Brock. It’s been on the card for a year now.

My issue is if the Smackdown championship feud ends up being Jinder vs Cena. Then I can see why people won’t be interested. Atleast Brock vs Roman will be interesting in the ring.

The obvious plan was for him and Jeff to team up, till the broken gimmick was resolved and just repeat it for WWE. Obviously that's on hold till Jeff gets back now, so he's stuck in limbo.

They could start it though. have him lose matches if needed in odd ways, that basically break him (and hes broken by the time Jeff returns). Which leads to him and Jeff being opposite despite being brothers and then leading to Jeff being broken
Kinda what happened in TNA but just a different way.

Don't think WWe ever had any serious plans with the Hardy Boys beyone what they did with the returning New Age Outlaws and/or Dudley Boyz.

I don’t know why everyone is arsey about Roman vs Brock. It’s been on the card for a year now.

It's the sheer stubbornness of it. It's going to happen no matter what and in the mean time others are going to be sacrificed to contribute to that build even if a different direction could work. Take the joe/brock feud earlier in the year. It was shit hot and Joe looked like a killer but rather than continue with it and consider the possibility of Joe going over and building a new main eventer it was dropped.

It would normally be commendable for them to actually plan long term for something but it just so happens that the one story they are doing it for is one that is going to have mixed reactions for. If reigns goes on last at mania then it will be for the fourth year in a row. It's that kind of ubiquity that made people hate cena.

Yeh this was theissue with the whole Rock/Cena 3 wm deal. It basically meant when Punk heated up, he essentially missed mania main event cos of it.
At least for Bryan, he found his way in even tho the plan was always meant to be Batista beating Orton hmm

With Brock vs Roman planned since basically last WM, it meant they wanted Brock as champ and undefeated meaning Brock and the title would be on hiatus for around 8 months. again.

I’m going to put a Royale Rumble theory up. There are rumours that there will be a female RR with 20 entrants there will be two title fights so that takes out 4. So I’m going to predict Ronda Rousey is entrant 20 wins setting up a wrestle mania match vs Charlotte.
