Thiago Alcantara | Signed for Bayern Munich

I believe Piques quotes were actually about Thiago Messi.

He wants us all to be patient, as before playing for the first team, he has a playdate.

He's available for the same amount of money as Andy Carroll went to West Ham and less than half of what Liverpool paid for Carroll.

Just let that sink in for a moment.

I can't imagine the situation when he isn't with us. I don't think I could take it.

A part of me thinks "this won't happen, our muppet transfer target of the summer very rarely joins us, and Thiago is just an absolute wankfest" - but then the other part of me knows that it all makes sense and we are the only logical place for him.

I don't know if that's essentially true. Sure we missed out on a few over the years, but we've also got a lot too.

Pique can piss off.

And there was another quote from him where he says Barca should not be looking to sign a CB because if Puyol is fit he is still a top CB. So basically he doesn't want competition in his own position, while players like Thiago should patiently bide their team despite the midfield at Barca being brim full with talent and competition. What a bell end.

Not to mention, one of the reasons he left us to go back to Barca was that for the foreseeable future he was never getting in ahead of Vidic and Ferdinand. Sort of a comparable scenario really as at the time those two were unquestionably the best CB pairing in the world, and Thiago is never going to be a regular starter ahead of Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets and Fabregas.

But no, he should wait it out despite it being a World Cup year and blow his chance of going to Brazil by not being a regular at a club.

We got Hargreaves and we got Berbatov which to be honest are the only drawn out sagas I can remember us winning.

The reason for this though is down 100% to the selling clubs who both kicked up a fuss, dug their heels in and made it all as public as possible. Exactly how we avoid to do business.

Can someone translate this? (nos vemos en... can't read last word) It's around :42-:44

Is this a joke? It means "see you in Manchester". That last word could be anything though.

Edit: Also, it can be a simple "we are going to..." sentence. I'd say that's more correct?
Edit2: Scratch that. It says vemos, not vamos.

AM I WATCHING A DIFFERENT CLIP?! It's all in English and he doesn't say anything like that. Stop messing with my head.

Alright cheers. Pexbo look at the ball around 42 seconds. Bottom left. I do not take credit for spotting it. Some bloke in my office pointed it out to me based on some tweet doing the rounds regarding those very words.

Match ball hat trick, seems his teammates have signed it and I assume De Gea's inner muppet came out when writing that?

Calm down, cocks back in, nothing to see here.

That is the best transfer muppetry work of all time, nobody can surpass that; not even the guy on here who took a picture of a United scouts notepad.

Bloody love De Gea.

Seriously though, it will help our cause no end having De Gea tell him what a great club we are. The people, the facilities, the coaches, the ethos, the fact our midfield is crying out for him and the fact they seem good friends and he can help him settle in. Also, De Gea is bringing it up at all seems to suggest that they have spoken about it and for my inner muppet it confirms that we have approached him.
