Jesus this thread is so up and down its like its powered by the lunar cycle.

We could make our own boom-bust just on this alone!

What a glorious day it will be when he finally does sign.

Quite neat we will hopefully sign one of the top prospects from La Liga. Normally La Liga steals from the PL.

BTW - is this kid genuinely the real deal?

Tomorrow is his presser and there's no way Moyes will be able to surprise everyone by revealing it then. The news will be leaked beforehand since this is such a high profile transfer. I don't think barca will keep quiet if they lose him and will leak information to the press. If he can keep this a secret and reveal thiago tomorrow then that would be very impressive.

Yep he's a top player with the potential to become the best midfielder in the Prem. Barcelona are going to be gutted to lose him no doubt about that. Thiago, Kagawa and RvP.....fecking jizz worthy.
If it does happen then the years of waiting for the gap in midfield to be filled would have been well worth the wait.

Luis Garcia, Torres, Alonso, Reina, Fabregas, Silva, Mata, Aguero, Navas. Definitely EPL gets more talent from La Liga than vice versa.

Well to be honest, loads of information .... like him wanting a special clause, medical tomorrow, dads selling restaurant, medical coach sayng its a lost cause ..... has already been leaked.

If it happens tomorrow its hardly been a secret!

oh yeah. forgot all them. Some handy players in that list too.

Im still bitter about Ronaldo I guess. Kind of blinds everything :(

Rumours on Twitter that, after a hard negotiation, we have obtained the rights to "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang.

Its their own fault not playin him & considering they were running away with the league & Fabregas not being that shit-hot - he should have had alot more games.

I can see how he might have been pissed-off with that & more importantly, him havin a clause in his contract that detailed the necessity to play a certain amount of games / minutes & not gettin them, he might possibly think that Barca were so arrogant to think that he wouldnt exercise the clause!

If that shit happened at United - we'd be well fecked off with Fergie & the top-brass not addressing that situation!!

I'm totes excited about this. It is like so on.

Well, if he is as good as some of you say, then alleviates one of the fears I had about Moyes, being an inability to attract great young talent, because of his lack of evidence thus far.

SAF could always point out players as far back as Lee Sharpe as evidence that he would play young boys and he knew how to develop their full potential.

Given Thiago father is very knowledgable about football, and that he wants to leave Barcelona to play more and in doing so develop his career, Moyes as a manager is obviously not considered as a problem. Which is great.

So many muppets, too many drool smilies.

Well it kind of did happen with Paul Pogba. He might not have had the clause but the two situations are remarkably similar ... and hopefully yields the same result!

In that instance, because of our absolute faith in SAF, we all said feck off Pogba you ungrateful git. I think SAF got that one wrong.

I've never been sucked into a transfer thread before, but this feels so good. It's on!

Kagawa and Thiago.

Could that really work in a classic 442.

a) Is Thiago hard enough like a Keane or Robson
b) Can Kagawa do any donkey work along with his silky skills?

Sounds like a dead sexy combo though. Especially if flanked with Zaha and Valencia. Very exotic 4-some!

we haven't played a classic 442 in a long time though.

Some folk were pissed off over Pogba. So imagine the uproar if it were someone of Thiago's stature. (though the slight difference being Barca's midfield is still pretty damn quality and ours wasn't anywhere near).

Holy crap batman even Eminem is a utd fan.

I think Kagawa most forward on the left side of CM and Thiago on the right a bit further back, with Carrick as the pivot and most defensive behind.

and a front three of RVP, Zaha/nani and Rooney/or his Replacement?

if we need to attack then evra and Rafael, if we need more defense then Baines and Varela.
