We've been this close before with Sneijder. All the "IT'S TOTES A DONE DEAL GUYZ" from every corner of the internet. Until he's stood with Moyesy, holding a shirt, with his name on the back, I'm still going to be a little skeptical.

The funniest thing about all this is that if a deal has been agreed, it will have been sorted out, and if it hasn't, nothing will have happened.

All that's gone on in between, and everything in this thread, is a bunch of people making stuff up on twitter.
 
We should get Gundogan next season too. Just imagine Gundogan and Thiago at the same team. We could potentially outBarcelona Barcelona.

Where are all the redcafe Manchester scouts when we need them? Surely Thiago should have been spotted at the airport or somewhere in Manchester by now, if he is going to be unveiled tomorrow?

I am pretty sure that we can outBorussia Borussia as soon as next season if we get Alcantara, Kagawa becomes the player we all know he will become and Nani get some form. But really a Thiago and Gundogan partnership with a solid defensive player behind them (Carrick or a new Carrick) would be the best midfield in the world. Only a wish but you never know. First things first, let's see Thiago with the red jersey before we start dreaming of Gundogan.

We need to sneak in a cheeky bid ourselves, you can never have enough quality midfielders and Carrick isn't getting any younger.

And real transfer Muppets don't care who buys the player it's the transfer itself that gets them all horny. The thought of outrages amounts of money being spunked on new players is what gets them off.

Aye. If we'll get Thiago it would be awesome anyway to see him linking up with Cleverley, with Carrick controlling everything.

Gundogan may be influenced by Kagawa in the future so there is a remote chance we can also get also him, knowing Moyesy's attitude towards building a midfield and Fergie's fascination of Klopp's Borussia.
 
Still refusing to be drawn in. Haven't even watched a YouTube video.
