Television The X Factor 2011

I was disappointed with James, knew his performance would mean that he would go out. It wasn't an exciting song choice and he didnt look comfortable singing it

I dont get the deal with Frankie. He needs a few songs that will actually prove whether or not he can actually sing

I think the whole set up on Saturday was unfair. I know that potential acts have to learn to cope with pressure, but to put those kids through that the first time they'd performed to that kind of audience, live and on tv, was just cruel and unnecessary.

Some coped with it better than others but on the whole, it was a disappointing show, with nerves having a huge part in it. I don't think those who coped better are necessarily more likely to succeed than those who didn't. It just takes a bit longer for some.

Tell you what - this little lad is better now, than any of this year's contestants.

The guy in the middle, in the white t-shirt, looks like a complete slimeball.

That was missing something. Good, but didn't really have the "oomph" she needed to sing that song.

this COMMETITION is missing something

....you know it

She's actually just talking, not singing, she's adding inflections and little fake falsetto's onto normal speech.

Yeh but her grandpa just passed away. This means she's pushed ahead because she has a better story than the others and it is a recent happening. These be the rules of the X Factor.

I absolutely love the song. I'd probably be happier if she stuck to making songs I didn't like boring.

In fairness, Elvis was absolutely brilliant, RedCafe's Elvis once pointed me onto some of his lesser known tunes. My Word (Wilkins TM) could he belt a tune out the young man.

Laughably bad vocals again. None of these are remotely close to a recording quality voice.

Christ, if singing puts him in so much pain, it might be an idea to stop.
