The World Cup Final: France vs Croatia (Kickoff 16H00 BST)

Whenever you see one team more energetic than the other at the start of the match, it usually means that one manager has told his team to blitz the first few minutes, whilst the other has instructed his side to keep things tights from the outset.

The way this game is going, I think France will start to dominate from minute 30 onwards. Croatia will need a goal or two before then.

France look a bit nervous, two years ago still playing on their mind perhaps.

Hard to watch this and not think what could've been. FFS Kane.

The stamina/fitness levels of these Croatia players is immense. Wonder if they can sustain it later in the game like they did in the previous ones. 3 back to back 120 minute games and they come out of the blocks flying. Maybe the Russia doping thread should have been about Croatia.

Is that Martin Keown on commentary having a go at Pogba?

Lack of quality from Perisic a couple of times so far. Poor final ball there and poor touch before.

Perisic is a fantastic player. Can see why José wanted himm

Griezzmann almost died there
