Television The Walking Dead

i haven't watched this season but reading online it seems next season will be a civil war?

yeah, glad i quit.

Doubtful. Just tension on how to move ahead together between Daryl + Maggie and Rick + Michonne..

They dropped quite a few hints that next season will be all about the whisperers apparently.

Either way it's going to be a human vs human dragged out war bullshit rather than going back to what originally made the show interesting (moving across America to learn more about the disease and potential cures whilst surviving the walkers).

So it ends with everybody growing vegetables and fixing windows! We also never got to see what happened to Lucille...the only character I give a shit about.

Should have just ended the series. Instead we will need to watch how they grow vegetables next season...

Considering how much they drag many things out on this show I felt the finale action scene was over pretty quickly. And I couldn't help but wonder what those things were on that tree.

There is the potential civil war which will probably be a war of words and the mass of zombies but that isn't a major storyline to replace Negan so I would expect a new group to be introduced (or the new lady and helicopter is just that).

Oh and 'they all live happily ever after'

Aren't there some mofo's with W on their foreheads still running around somewhere? I bet they will play a larger role next season. Either that or Negan escapes and they spend the whole season hunting him.

Jadis

So rick has been on a warpath to end negan for literally hours of my life then proceeds to save him?

WTF

I am Interested to see where it goes with Maggie and the rest though they are pissed for keeping him alive.

Still didnt actually catch Eugene reasons for sabotaging the bullets, couldn't make it out through his babbling. This was just after being was threatened to be murder the previous ep by Daryl and Rosita. Didnt he end up killing more people?
And not a single person of what seemed like 100s decided before hand to test their guns, also wouldn't some still have had bullets not made by Eugene?
Also Jesus, the supposed voice of reason is now going to become villainess....
There must be a internal joke going on with the writers for coming up with ideas of how to trash the show and still have people watch it, hook, line and sinker...

oh, and the helicopter...yeah that whole tease thing was fecking pointless, wasn't it?

I wondered if it had something to do with
Fear the Walking Dead? There were helicopters involved in that weren't there?

I really hope they don’t ruin it by turning Darryl and Jesus on Rick

Maggie I could go with because Negan beat her husband to death in front of her eyes with a bat. What reason would the other two have? Jesus has spent three seasons preaching about not killing folk and Darryl just let Dwight leave

Seems like the show should just end.
Next seasons plot lines look underwheling to say the least and the idea of them keeping Negan in some sort of jail is just a terrible idea.

It's tough to argue with the testing guns point before Eugene meddled with them but:

- Eugene has always been a well intentioned person whose first instinct is to survive and he doesn't care how. So it makes sense that he will do whatever is needed to get by but when the right time to show his good side hel do it.. with minimal risk to his health, of course. Its a bit of a throwback to how he told Abe that he's ready to make a difference to the war regarding the bullet making idea and ironically he was, just in a way we wouldnt have expected.

Jesus yeah voice of reason and all that but he's seen most of the Kingdom finished hasn't he? That changes someone. He's been dealing with Negan as a problem longer than everyone else has and has probably had enough of it.

I find the story generally a shite rinse and repeat ever since the governor indroduction. They find a community with a bad guy. They overthrow the bad guy, take the towns few remaining good guys and move to the next bad guy. Its a bit shit.

ironically Negan has been the best thing about the show since his introduction.

To have him imprisoned is going to ruin the character! id have much rather seen a peace / truce and actually make dealing with the giant horde a big issue!

havent read the comics but seen people in here refer to whisperers which might bring a new villain but id does feel rinse and repeat every few years with no major advancement in the plot.

I read the synopsis for most of the episodes on Wikipedia and then just watched the finale. Would recommend. Do not feel like I missed anything.

But aren’t you looking forward to him eventually being released for the mid season finale because Rick needs his help, only for him to become the villian again in the season finale?

Scott Gimple is that you?

I quite enjoyed the intervention of the flaming poofter and his girlfriends. It was fabulous.

It's cool just how much useful gasoline is lying around.

Crappy dialogues and storylines aside, I found myself bored to the point of watching the extras on the background. That Negan bunch look like they have turned into zombies themselves, they just march around the warehouse without any sense of purpose for the good two and a half minutes there.

I gave up after the episode that Carl died. I take it this was the right thing to do and it hasn’t got any better?

Obviously they had to kill Simon where Negan was fighting him without a club and somehow won... oh and Dwight is still alive by just standing there sulking with a cigarette like a dweeb.

Personally my biggest problem is Daryl now. What they've done to this character is just sad. For some reason he's incredibly bland and from good one or two seasons while hating Rick after shit they've been through. None of cool things happening between two main characters of the show.

There's so many points probably other people will call out but I guess Eugene producing fake bullets was the one cooler things actually, but then again Rosita came and punched him in the face because he puked on her episode earlier... just talking about this is laughable.

Remember zombie apocalypse and fighting for survival with unending lack of food, water and medical supplies ? Yeah, it's gone. Rick starting agroculture and Negan will be forced to plant trees because Carl said so and his teenage letters about world peace is a holy book now.

Hope this means they end it soon.

Man... I stopped watching this last year. Worth getting back into?

Hopefully Andrew goes on to have a really great career. He was always the highlight of the show IMO. Clearly the strongest actor on the cast.

I just want him to use the dialogue "we need a veheecal" in future films and il be happy.

Will that just leave Daryl as one of the originals? That character has become lost.

Explain the helicopter and kill everyone off please.

and yet Negan has been the only interesting character in the last two years...

It shows how shit the story really got if they had one of the most interesting characters in the last 2 years and still made it really shite.
