The show has become so shit that having the series end with Rick waking up after being in a coma for a few years with Lori, Carl and Shane by his bedside would actually be a fitting end. The writers could absolutely milk it and it'd be such a funny FU finale, have Rick being driven home from the hospital and looking out the backseat window at people like Merle and Daryl, Andrea and Dale, Glen delivering a pizza, Carol and Sophia with her abusive husband Jim, the Governor out trimming his hedges etc. all just living a normal life because the zombie apocalypse never happened whilst Rick freaks out
Seriously Andrew Lincoln is the only reason I watched for as long as I did, the originals from the group were actually likeable the new cast except for Negan and Simon were of no interest to me. The Walking Dead needs to fecking end now

Loads of people still watch this which I find amusing tbh. The show has gone down in quality massively since season 5? IIRC.
I stopped after season 6 but had this friend who kept watching it despite him constantly telling me how shite it was.
Also I heard about the face montages they were showing in the last season, trying to go all artsy I guess.
If Andrew Lincoln leaves, I think the show is dead.
So sad to see all these shows I used to watch regularly become shite. TWD, Flash, Arrow, The Big Bang Theory, Suits all have gone down in quality.

I think it went downhill since they left the prison, i still watch it but out of habit as much as anything else. It's had its moments in recent seasons but few and far between, I think like Dexter and prison break, its a victim of its own success and is only continuing because of how much money it makes

That season had some great moments of TV, but overall was so boring and had so many stupid character decision making. Actually I could say the last episode of season 1 should have been the first sign.
What happened?
It was just disappointing. I remember them introducing a place/ character the episode before and then blowing it up with some nobody characters we saw maybe once or twice or have a few lines. It was just not good. I remember enjoying the first 5 eps though.
Carol is a original character.

I know science and/or biology is hardly top of the show's priorities but shouldn't zombies have rotted away to almost nothing after 5 years if they're decaying?
I believe its about a decade without a coffin, or there about. It wouldn't be much more than that though before there's nothing left but bones.
Problem is everybody is affected
So world will keep getting new walkers but should see the human population decrease over time too
I think there was an ep where the walkers looked rotting and were pushed easily by a fast flow of water from a hose

There was some pretty class stuff in the last half of last season, well worth the watch IMO. First half of the season was pretty standard for TWD.
Walkers which are silent and then just sneak attack are still so funny.

It needed an explosive start to the season. And man did it not deliver.
