Television The Walking Dead

I’m probably walking dead’s number one fan on here and even I thought it wasn’t very good last night.

All that pent up anger and a clear shot and he decided to have a chat. But at least he got a photo of Negan

Its mind boggling how much better FTWD has become than this. TWD writers need to stop being so spineless and clean house with some of these characters

FTWD is still very meh to me. I'm not far off stopping watching. TWD is still brainlessly entertaining enough for me to keep watching and enjoying.

That would explain things, but judith has done a lot of growing up in one or two months.

She was conceived after the outbreak, right? Certainly was born after. Perhaps it's a side effect of the zombie infestation that people grow much faster.

By the way, where are all the other little children in a post zombie world? Has everybody become sterile besides Lori or something?

I suppose nobody would want to bring a child into the apocalypse, after all , the only thing your doing by getting pregnant is a “Zombies Pack-lunch!!”

Conceived after the outbreak when Lori thought Rick was dead and her and Shane got together I thought but when I looked her up it seems vague, not sure if any indication was ever given at the time how long it actually was after the outbreak when she was born.

She was definitely conceived after the outbreak, the very first episode Rick & Shane are talking about his martial woes and IIRC he mentioned that there's no 'spark' with them anymore, suggesting that they weren't having sex at the time.

I think the only confusion is who the father is.

What is the thought about walking stick rick with the beard and buzz cut , what is happening ? Is it a dream ? Or fantasy ? Any ideas ? Cheers

I'm not really sure how directly related it is, but I saw on Reddit the other day someone pointed out the mirroring between the episode and the first episode

Potentially setting up for Carl to become more of a main character/leader within the group?

TWD has always been the most overrated series in TV history, and its spinoff just furthers it. Fun watch at times but the hype for and the idiocy of that after show wankfest just brings it down.

There is an aftershow? Ttat sounds annoying. It's zombies ffs. Popcorn tv.

Thought this episode was decent, the main plus this season there has been much less boring scenes.

Morgan played a nice rendition of Robocop. It was a decent episode though.

You just know not killing those people will bite them back. Feck Jesus.

Childish shooting scenes. Blasting away with automatic weapons at 20 yard range for minutes on end, yet hardly anyone gets hit, except some of the baddies who are killed instantly, and a very occasional goodie with a flesh wound, as the other side can't aim for some reason.

but still manage to give head shots to a swarm of zombies.

How would anyone would remember morales.. I was like who?what? Been watching from day one but my memory doesn’t cast that far back, had to wiki him and he was with his family when rick met up with Lori and the camp outside of Atlanta in season 1.

I remember him.

Yeah but for viewers who haven’t seen season 1 since the last time it aired 7 years ago and those who don’t binge watch in two weeks, it was hardly a “feck me he’s back” moment. He was a minor character in season 1 outside Lori, Shane, Andrea, Daryl, Meryl,Glen, Dale, Carol he featured less than all of them.

I'm constantly turning the volume up and down. It goes from inaudible conversation to explosions and machine gun fire in an instant.

 I'm the same, my volume button is nearly worn out from this show alone.

I enjoyed that episode though it had quite alot of action and no boring scenes. If they were all like that I'd be well happy but you just know it'll be a nothing episode next week

This is so true

I love the Walking Dead but I think they have lost some of the menace - the Walkers are comically slow and non-threatening, Neagan just swans around blurting out catchphrases and not being very evil and you just know that none of the established characters are dying unless it's a mid-season/season ender

What they need is to get back that old feeling of genuinely not knowing which characters would make it through each episode.

That was fecking shit.

The automatic rifle shootout that went on the for entire episode was laughably bad. It was honestly like something someone doing a film for their GCSE's would make. I saw one guy pretend to get shot and just lay down

Carol, the king bloke and some useless extras just spent the episode slowly tracking one guy and then a poorly CGI'd tiger got him anyway.

Morgan walking around fecking killing all these hapless people with machine guns. Just one shotting them all with a pistol like Jon Wick ffs.

I literally have no idea where Rick and Daryl were or what exactly they were doing. I have no idea who that guy was he has a fight with, I have no idea whose baby that was and I have no idea who Morales is.

Oh and then we're treated to loads of slow close-ups of people. Uh.. ok.

As someone who tuned out during season 5 (or was it 6?) would you guys recommend its worth picking up again?
