I love cricket... especially when its played by the best.. Can't beat the sight of a fast bowler hurling down the ball at light speed...and watching batsmen, fend them off...

Love most sports TBH, been a big fan of boxing n'all over the past two decades...(must admit its not what it used to be)</strong><hr></blockquote>

I can watch pretty much any sport, they never show cricket here so i wont have to test myself with that one :p

I started watching box cause i was visiting a friend and he was watching this boxing match with yes Oscar De laHoya man he was fine that night then he had to go start singing and wear seethrough shirts plus his voice aint manly ! But i watch most of the big matches they show here.

they don´t show hockey here either ;)

But i´m sure it goes something like, you can´t be at a certain place and then get that puck thing when certain other players are at a certain other place ;)

giggzy try to answer my question.I will give you a hint. There are 10 ways to dismiss a batsman according to wisden.what are they?</strong><hr></blockquote>

LBW
Bowled
Caught
Hit wicket
Obstruction
Timed out(if you take too long to get the crease)
Run out
Stumped

er..........?????????

Somehow don't think we'll ever see that. I mean, every kid is taught to run between the fielder and the wickets at school.

Yes Imran Khan did the same in the WC final 1992 and got away with that.</strong><hr></blockquote>

In every one day series there is an incident where a throw hits the batsman. There is never an appeal. hmmm, should use this against the aussies.

Lancashire well on top in the C&G match with Middlesex. 3 yickets for the 'Digger'. Middlesex 7 down and well over 100 runs adrift. Hope we draw Surrey in the next round and give them a good stuffing.

Ad Harbhajan's on his way...India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will arrive at Lancashire on Friday after missing the start of the season with a finger injury. Harbhajan suffered the injury playing in a one-day series in Bangladesh in April.

That's good news. Just heard that Richard Johnson's got injured though. What is it with our fast bowlers that they can never stay fit for more than one game ?

Hope Jim Anderson stays out of trouble <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

News just in - Harbhajan has failed a fitness test and will not be signing for Lancs this year.

Carl Hooper is expected to sign a contract through to the end of the season.

Shame we won't see 'the Turbanator' at OT this season, but whilst Carl's doing the business with bat and ball I shan't complain.

went to a 20/20 match last night and it was quite good. Straight from work a few beers, and watching some big hitting. I think the ECB and cricket in England will only be the better for it.

What do you think about Zimbabwe? I know they have a lot of their best players leave in the last few years, but to lose to Ireland FFS!!
People were complaining about Nambia, Holland and Canada being in the world cup but Ireland were not and they are beating Zimbabwe. Has the time come for them and Bangladesh to drop back to 2nd tier with Kenya and others to avoid further embarassing 3 day tests.

The players have lost their confidence. Individually cricketers from Zimbabwe are as good as cricketers from other test playing nations.
In Zimbabwe cricket is healthy at its root level, with talented black and white players alike being unearthed at school level, but administrators were cultivating a racist system. If the trend continues cricket will be pretty much a non-event in years to come. Some blacks are not good enough to play this game at the highest level. The administrators don't want it to be a predominantly white sport, but the good players are predominantly white and many are leaving the country. That's why it's in turmoil.

I really feel sorry for the Zimbabweans. Watching them during the national anthem, you can see they really love their country, but their country really is letting them down.

Vaughan's first game in charge. England 204-9 Pakistan 127-2 and cruising.

Wicket with his first ball for Dans' very own Ricki Clarke.

Told you Vaughan would be a crap captain and lose form... ;)
