I kind of feel the same way, McKola shouts too much but I find Rory* likeable and Buvey funny (at times) cause as long as you get that he's just mostly on a wind up he's entertaining.

*Peak Rory was 2 videos released within 12 hours where first demanded that Tuchel be sacked and then in the second admonished the Hierarchy of Chelsea for sacking him :lol: his first line in the Tuchel sack reaction is "My club are complete and utter lunatics" :lol:



 
I think Laurence is taking a step back from TG stuff and it is probably for the best. He is better with the off camera stuff.
 
I don’t know if it’s still the case, but in the past I remember Rory having an irrational hatred of ‘smaller’ clubs and their managers receiving praise, and adopting a ‘big club bias’. When Brentford for example had a difficult period results-wise (which of course smaller clubs in-particular who largely have a glass ceiling will inevitably have), he then rushed in to conclude that it proved how overrated Thomas Frank was and how the praise he was getting wasn’t justified. Of course that was ridiculous logic, and was par for the course with him. To be honest he probably doesn’t know a whole lot about 13-14 of the Premier League clubs anyway, or a lot of their players.

But True Geordie and that Liverpool supporting kn*b were by far the worst, so the others are well rid of them.
 
Seeing so many people united in hatred for Lawrence McKenna gives me hope for future generations.

Does anyone feel he has any redeeming qualities?
 
I thought it was an interesting premise initially. To have 'normal' fans discussing football. They stopped being normal fans having a normal discussion about football more or less immediately and just became a weak imitation of sky sports. Controversy, narrative building, presentation and commercialisation became the focus.
I think they're all tiresome bores
 
Watched the first live stream just now. It was basically the kick off minus TG and Laurence. I’m pretty sure that the back room staff they were referencing used to be on the kick off too. They’ve well and truly ripped him off. :lol:

Disagree. TG barely knows anything about Football. And tbf I think he knows it. He doesn't even try to analyse stuff.

He turned into a joke who routinely came up with Alan Shearer and fighting analogies in every sentence.


Rory and Buvey carried that show. Rory as the articulate, overdramatic and deluded old school Football fan and Buvey as the troll/wind up merchant always stole the show.

Adam is only liked by non United fans as he embarasses United fanbase regularly by crying and whining like a total baby all the time. The guy is as thick as they come and the non United fans love him as a caricaturish representation of the fanbase. He's an annoying loser and Goldbridge is way calmer and more likeable than him.

Yeah, neither of them are that great either. Especially Rory with his "delectable medley of footballing splendor" bullshit. True Geordie deserves credit for putting it together, but towards the end he didn't make much sense.

He’s the only one of the paddock lot I don’t like really. When any 2 of Howson, Jay and Joe are on the brew it’s actually a brilliant listen, even for non-football stuff.

Jay and Joe are brilliant, and if it’s them two alongside either Howson or McKola it’s usually good.
I find they bring the best out of the other two, as I can’t really be on with them on their own.
 
I used to talk to Adam in the early days of FTD. He's a good lad. Also, he was a season ticket holder long before he started on youtube so you can't accuse him of faking it like some of the other clowns.
 
I used to enjoy watching True Geordie but as what happens to a lot of folk the fame went to his head and he turned into an absolute wanker. As for that smug cnut McKenna he’s always been a despisable cretin.
