Some of the vids that TG's done since the controversy, you can see his spirit has well and truly been broken
Absolutely. No sympathy from me, but unlike the other times he rocked the boat, you can see now that all his cards have been played and it'll never ever get as good as he had it with the kick off
Agreed. Makes me think true Geordie must be begrudging them now. It’s hard to be on the good terms after all this. Right?sometimes I feel bad for him that his brand has been well and truly ripped off here with the lads that are now doing the club (both the football and poker stuff) and then remember how much of a cnut he’s been. He brought them in to do football and poker stuff, set them up with people and now they’ve left, remade a show that’s ripped off his and are getting to go to poker events and will likely start doing poker streams too. It’s actually mad how blatantly they’re copying him but not giving a feck. I love it.
I used to talk to Adam in the early days of FTD. He's a good lad. Also, he was a season ticket holder long before he started on youtube so you can't accuse him of faking it like some of the other clowns.
I watched some of his stream from Sunday's final during my lunch today. The way he refused to give any credit to Ten Hag and kept referring back to how much money our squad costs compared to Newcastle was a reminder as to why I'm glad to see The Club essentially rip off The Kick Off and take his viewers with them. The most deluded comment he made was "if you put Rashford in Newcastle's team then we'd be well above Man United in the table". Sure thing mate - I'm sure Dan Burn would be threading through passes to Rashford in the same way Luke Shaw has done all season
I wish people would stop using the "dominated possession ergo deserved to win" argument. Possession is only good if you actually use it create opportunities.I like Brian, been watching him since Jimmy Conrad debut. But he’s so clueless these days. Yeah Newcastle “dominated the possession” but they didn’t do jack shit with any of it. 90mins and no goals. Only time, was the St Max moment in the box. United clearly outscored, outthought anything Newcastle did. Feel sorry for him being backstapped by his twat friends. Least he’s pretty good with the boxing analysis.

I agree with everything you said apart from that sentence. Having watched Stretford Paddock videos for years, I'm pretty sure some of the people closest to Mckola are Muslim. I'd imagine he thought he'd be doing them a disservice if he continued appearing on videos with Brian after that crass comment of his went viral.
I wouldn't say Brian's friends backstabbed him. They were well within their rights to make their own channel after what he said. If you decide to make a career in doing live podcasts and you make an insensitive/Islamaphobic comment then ultimately you've got to accept your medicine.

Yeah I saw the highlights of the watch along. He’s historically always been so bitter against Utd. To be fair he said ETH has done a great job with gritted teeth. But every praise is caveated with “but”.I watched some of his stream from Sunday's final during my lunch today. I find the “if we didn’t have Rashford we’d struggle” argument very weak. No one would have said that at the beginning of the season. If we were told Rashford would be our main goals this season, we’d all have been worried too.
It’s testament to how good ETH has been the fact he’s got Rashford playing like this.
Saw a great quote from Adam Crafton on this - United convinced Newcastle they were playing well when in actuality they weren’t getting into any areas to hurt them.I like Brian, been watching him since Jimmy Conrad debut. But he’s so clueless these days. Yeah Newcastle “dominated the possession” but they didn’t do jack shit with any of it. 90mins and no goals. Only time, was the St Max moment in the box. Newcastle fans overall are so badly rattled it’s hilarious. Their funniest argument is talking about how great their fanbase is compared to United

Dominate possession is such a silly argument. That’s why they say goals change games. If a team scores a goal or two, there is no need for them to try and push forward and dominate the ball.I wish people would stop using the "dominated possession ergo deserved to win" argument. They are really relaxed about it mate.
I think it's a bit rich though when you have someone like Jennings as part of that group who says and likes on twitter a lot of questionable stuff regarding the LGBTQ+ community.
I don't follow Rory Jennings on Twitter but I'm disappointed to hear that as he comes across as quite a jovial harmless guy on stream.

It's not a surprise. I think it's a combination of him a) not knowing that much about football and b) having a huge hate boner for Man Utd. He's always used United in clickbaity type videos because he knows it gets clicks. He'll probably release a 10 minute clip on his Kick Off YouTube channel shitting on us to rake in the views. He hasn’t given any credit to ten hag at all. This is a constant theme amongst many YouTubers and rival fans referring to amount of money we spent in the summer plus saying we already had amazing players at the club.
These are the same people I swear who never rated any of our players before ten hag arrived and predicted us to finish 6th, 7th even 10th even after the players we bought before the season started. What is it then? Is tenhag a genius or we always had world class players and any manager could have got where we are? No logic no nuances no recognition just pure biasness and hatred.

And if anything, it was one of the tactical approaches that vindicated Ten Hag's management of the game - we just came off a gruelling, intense game against Barcelona, some of our players are pretty much running on fumes, and we've seen Newcastle are not particularly creative with the ball. Letting them have the possession, but being lethal in our moments, was a perfectly valid approach to the game.This.
Yeah it's a pointless argument. LVG dominated every match but had 2 shots all fecking game. That was painful.I wish people would stop using the "dominated possession ergo deserved to win" argument. Possession is only good if you actually use it create opportunities.

Agreed, we were tired, we didn't want possession. That's why Ten Hag goaded Newcastle into attacking, and it worked wonders.Dominate possession is such a silly argument. That’s why they say goals change games. If a team scores a goal or two, there is no need for them to try and push forward and dominate the ball.
It was noticeable ETH wanted Newcastle to continue to press high like they have been doing and then used De Gea to bypass their press by going long to Weghorst. It was another ETH master class. Took out their midfield every time. There was no need for us to try and dominate the ball once we took the lead.
I wish people would stop using the "dominated possession ergo deserved to win" argument. Possession is only good if you actually use it create opportunities.
There wasn't a single moment during the actual game where I was worried or didn't think we'd win. It's as simple as that. Even in this mythical first half where they dominated us, they created one half chance that had a goalkeeper and 2 defenders in the way and we scored 2 actual, real goals.

Man Utd fans are obsessed about Alan Shearer. Who knew? I guess that Treble a few years after he chose Newcastle over us was a small consolation, but in reality nothing could heal the wound that he left.
