The Transfer Deadline Day Thread / Most crazy ever?

I'd imagine their bill will be lower. Higuain, Özil and Kaka must have been on high wages while Isco is probably not earning that much, Bale will have a massive contract but it will be offset by a smaller deal for Illarramendi.

This. They've taken big earners off the wage bill and replaced em with young players. Bales the only one who will be on silly money.

Four fans and a dog behind James Cooper , says it all really

I won't allow this to pass unacknowledged.
:lol::lol:

I know there's still time but Im getting worried that neither of the clubs have indicated anything about any of the proposes moves

"Sounds like Everton manager Roberto Martinez's journey to a work permit hearing to plead the case for Porto's midfield man Fernando was wasted. The word out of Portugal is that there will be no deal - a deal which also dependent on Marouane Fellaini completing his move to Manchester United."

The woman reporting from QPR seems like an utter simpleton.

Ozil and Moyes will see things more eye to eye than Ozil and Wenger.

If we actually end up signing no one today, I'll be mildly to severely upset. Right now it's actually looking plausible. New manager, new exec, apparently a fair transfer budget, and.... a 20 year old right-back for £2 mill.

MUTV will cancel phone-ins indefinitely if we sign nobody. Phil from Prestwich had a right run in with Gary Pallister yesterday and I agreed with Phil all the way for once. Pally just kept going on about how we won the league easily last season, David May looked uncomfortable.

Some news from Goodison Park on the horizon...

Could be a midfielder in which would probably confirm Fellaini out.

It's very nervy, but i don't mind as we will get a good fee. I'm only worried about not being able to get a decent replacement.

"I've been told there is "a strong possibility" that Everton striker Victor Anichebe will join West Bromwich Albion in a deal worth around £5m. Everton will need to bring in a striker as a matter of urgency if he leaves.
"As for James McCarthy, Everton have yet to make another firm bid for the Wigan Athletic midfielder since an initial offer, believed to be £7m rising to £10m, was rejected.
"Everton still retain hope of signings Manchester City's Gareth Barry but time is marching on - and still no Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United."

4 hours left. :nervous:
