I'm really interested who you got mate, considering your first round choice. BTW the pool here IMO is really narrow, or at least I got around 15 players as a shortlist that are worth going for.
Aye, several absolute legends from that era (and earlier, not least) that don't have a huge amount of caps. In his case the nationality switch played its part too. His total amount exceeds the limit.
I think my pick is in line with the first one - in one sense, at least. I'm going for a theme - of sorts. One I've often - sort of - gone for, but never managed to fully commit to.
He's not a marquee name - I think that's fair to say. But one of the best players in his position in the history of ******* football.
There's at least one manager here who will rate him highly, unless I'm mistaken...

Mmm, if you add up the individual appearances that Wiki has it does come to 28. I can't see the detail easily on transfermarkt, although it does disturbingly suggest he's a manager of IS
We assessed Falcao on various sources. My interpretation is that the sources citing 34 caps are including some non-official matches such as his Olympics games or the match against 'Team America'. The more official sources, including the RSSSF and FIFA, gave him 28 and therefore eligible.
As for Kubala, he was not eligible for round 1 for the reason Balu stated.
