I do not trust the Sun. But if ETH were ever minded to give anyone who has been part of the campaign to undermine the club, a clean slate that in my view would signal the end of ETH. It would be like taking poison into his own mouth. There are players in that dressing room who have become so toxic and so malevolent that they need to be excised and quickly. I don't think Ronaldo and Martial will be leaving simply because no one else is paying them anything close to what we are paying them. Unless Ronaldo decides to wind down at Sporting the only other options in the CL that would make sense for him are Liverpool and City as they are the most competitive and best placed to help him make history but we have a contract with him which gives us a say on where he goes and him being the leader of this rebuild might just be as enticing.
Pogba and Matic don't play much, same as Mata and Cavani and we already have youngsters ready to replace the latter two in Elanga and Hannibal. We should be buying at least one DM and we already have Fred to play as an 8 thus covering the Pogba replacement. Garner is returning too.

ETH will have strong belief he can guide and discipline players. He'll have seen what Jesse did away from United at West Ham and will want to see how Rashford is after his injuries/surgery before offloading.
I'm not taking the article as truth but we already have a lot leaving so we need players. With Jesse though for his own sake he should probably leave and be focused on being a first team regular elsewhere. A contract extension doesn't seem viable from his side and a new deal seems problematic if needing to sell, it's a good time to part ways but we'll leave it up to ETH and the board.

To be honest I would let Lingard leave and probably give Rashford one more season.

Please for the love of god just let Lingard go. I can stomach Rashford getting one final chance under ten hag because at least we know if he hits top level he’s good enough. Lingard has quite honestly never been good enough.
