Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Thanks, good luck to you too.

No team has ever retained the Champions Cup - or even won it more than once - so I think its safe to say you're favourite tonight.
You've beaten me 3 out of 4 times this season so it'll be a easy win for you unfortunately. #bottlers

We're playing at the San Siro.

You have 12 Serie A based players in your squad compared to my 1 (and he only just moved there this summer). Game, set and match.
Ye but the ME is fecked so it will count as your home game. I know this, read it in a magazine.

Athletic play Dortmund in a friendly now. Laporte is back. City-bid incoming any second now.

Stupid game spoiled it for me. Such bollocks to have the finances updated immediately and displayed on the home page. Saw it say I had £200M and the suspense was ruined :( Still watched the game anyway.

Good match, thanks Stain and good luck for next season.

Welcome to @Wino1, the new manager of Wolves.

Poor lad. His entire squad was sold and many of his ex players that he wanted to buy back have gone elsewhere and players he is trying to sign won't actually sign for him due to low squad rating. He's really been fecked over and left in a pile of shite. Can't you ask people to lay off his players @Damien? just for a few days maybe? otherwise he's going to be headed straight for relegation. Whatever, he needs some help or advice because Wolves were challenging last season and a new squad of 89 rated players won't be anywhere near as good.

Tried but people don't listen. A lot of them have already been snapped up. League full of vultures. He already knew the problems before taking the job though (bar the players refusing to sign bit)

No point trying to reason with people like that. Nobody in div 1 wants any distribution of the talent, as shown by the suggestion to have unmanaged teams being put up for a free-for-all instead of a draft system, so everyone can be bought up by the division one clubs with >£100m in the bank.

Yeah I get that, just If LB hadn't sold any players and left Wolves you would have protected the club and players until a new manager took over. No worries though, i'm sure he will be fine. :)

I also get why people are buying the Wolves players, I just thought there would be some left for the new manager to buy back.

It was suggested by me and other div 1 managers that the unmanaged club players be sold to lower clubs but for max cash value so that the selling club gets fair compensation. All that needs to be done is for someone to work out how to decide who gets whom.

There was an overwhelming majority for a free-for-all in that convo.

I much prefer the draft system

Yeah LB is such a dick. Stupid that gameworld owners are essentially powerless to do anything in the case of someone dismantling a side.

It soon wont matter anyway when @RedSky get's RED MANAGER up and running. Everyone will be playing that :)

That really isn't right at all, but it is SM after all, there are so many daft little flaws like that. Such a shame as it's an outstanding game and so much fun. There is so much right about it too, it's just the flaws are glaringly obvious and you would have thought they would want to fix them, but after reading the forums recently (trying to find out when the Dutch sides will get reviewed) I can see that they owners are happy to leave things as they are. They don't seem to take new ideas/criticisms very well at all.
